First of all it has been a while since I have been there. Technically you need to buy a season pass. Most people don't but I did. I used to walk my dogs on the trails. My family enjoyed it. We have picnicked there. It is just a conservation area not a camp ground or anything special. There are some picnic tables on a covered concrete pad. Some special events are held there throughout the year. Think you can rent or use for big family get togethers. If you just want some peace and quiet and a walk through the woods it is good and quite close to the city.As someone mentioned I do think some lovers may meet there during their lunch hour.

Yes that is all there is , a parking lot , where it looks like cheating couples park their cars and meet up . The old buildings there are never open and there are no bathroom facilities anywhere any time . The hiking trail is not worth a mention and not well maintained . Dog poop all over the place and I was surprised to find out about a brand new dog park that has out door facilities and a well groomed area just .07 km up the same road .I cant even have a family come and sit at a table in the conservation area , no wheel chair access and no tables .
