We visited here, waupoos and the county cider company. The devils wishbone was by far the best. Really good information given on the tour and good samples of wine. No rush to leave, lovely seating areas outside. Would recommend and would visit again.

What a beautiful winery in a picturesque setting, great staff and overall ambience make the Devils Wishbone a MUST to visit in Prince Edward County! I enjoyed the best Riesling I have ever tasted and we ordered a case right awasy which was shipped free of charge and at my door 2 days later. As we opened up a bottle I though maybe it wasnt going to be as good at home because we werent sitting in the sunshine overlooking the fabulous view of the vineyard and lake, but to my joy it was just as amazing!

Beautiful location with a large restored barn. Bring your picnic lunch and eat outside or in the many rooms of the barn, and enjoy a glass of wine. I really enjoyed the pairing of the wine with different foods - made it a fun experience.

As an employee of what I consider the best winemaker/owner that I have had the pleasure to work for, I give you all my first review of The Devil's Wishbone Winery. There are close to 40 wineries in our region that have discovered the amazing "Terroir" we have here that produces the exquisite wines just waiting for your tasting pleasure. Although some individuals may find our wines not to their liking ,many others continue to enjoy them..plus the experience of visiting our century old barn re purposed as a winery and a place to sit and enjoy our mountain. I personally thank all that have become our guests and hope they continue to enjoy the fruits of Paul Gallagher's labour along with Roy,Jennifer, Kaitlin,Hadjra,Ute and our hardworking vineyard workers..and our interns from France..Anel and Alex. Our first stop on our Prince Edward County left us worried. Had a taste of one of their wines and was charged $1. We were not expecting this and had thought that if you wanted to sell a product you would give a free taste to get the client interested. Even Costco know this and gives free samples. After the taste (as the title says mediocre) and seeing the prices we got back in the car and continued our trip. This was not the only place that was charging but we had gotten wise by the time we got to them.

Very picturesque property. A beautifully remodeled barn. Excellent wines.Recommend packing a picnic lunch (places to sit inside the barn as well as outside) and enjoying the wine and atmosphere.

Devil's Wishbone has become one of my favourite wineries to visit in Prince Edward County. Owner Winemaker Paul Gallagher jokes that he makes the wine to suit his tastes because he has to drink it if it doesn't sell. He has great taste and probably doesn't get much left over. Everything is done in small batches and his whites are mostly made from free run juice. The Riesling and Pinot Gris are exceptional. The terroir in this part of Prince Edward County is different than other areas and his reds are packed with flavour especially his Pinot Noir and Cab Franc. The winery is in a lovely old barn that is fun to explore and the view out over Prince Edward Bay is spectacular. The staff are extremely friendly.

Beautiful old barn with passionate winemaker. Paul gave us a through history and education of the vineyard. Jennifer was charming and knowledgable. Lovely spot for a picnic and wine tasting.

This is a cute place with decent wines overall and an especially good Cab Franc (that we bought), but... Jennifer made the whole experience a blast. She is a lively, bouncy and candid entertainer who clearly enjoys her work and her life. Certainly worth the drive.

Six of us on a girls weekend getaway visited Devil's Wishbone Winery and spent a delightful hour or more tasting three delicious wines along with a taste of the foods to best accompany them. Our hostess was delightful - she was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and shared all the important details on how to properly enjoy and pair wine. The venue was particularly enjoyable - the tasting took place in an historic barn, restored to enjoy the experience. These wines are not available in LCBO and can only be purchased at the winery or off their website. Most of us came away with a bottle or two! All of us thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend this attraction. Without a doubt, this Vintner loves what he does!
