Lighthall is an absolutely incredibly winery. While it's arguably not the most scenic winery in the county (a little out of the way - make sure to plan other stops in the area). I couldn't have enjoyed my visits here (once with my staff from a different winery and once with friends) more. Glen (owner/winemaker) is attentive and charming, and the wine is fantastically different from anywhere else in the county! The cement tank makes all the difference for some of their Pinots! I cant recommend this winery enough! Make sure you say hi (or bonjour) to Bacon ;)!

As someone who runs boutique wine tours in the County, I have to rate my clients experiences this summer at the winery as amazing. At the end of each tour I ask them what stood out as the best experience. Nearly every client rates their time at this winery as outstanding. Glen, the owner, is so knowledgeable and engaging while at the same time making some the County's premier wines. A definite must when touring the County.

The owner is great fun - very engaging and chatty. His dog Bacon is lovely - a real asset to the winery! The wines themselves - perfection! Go visit!

It may not look like much, but Lighthall is always a pleasure to visit and they always offer at least one product that I purchase (often two or three). It's informal, not fancy, but pleasurable with a gracious host who provides generous tastings and information without any pressure to purchase. I've been twice, and will definitely visit them again.

Glenn runs the show here and his passion for his products is undeniable. This is probably the only winery in the area (even Ontario) with a concrete tank! His Progression, a prosecco-style sparking, is excellent while setting itself apart. His Chardonnay distinguishes itself with its depth and its minerality. Similarly, his Gewurztraminer shows beautiful fruit and balance.

We loved the first stop on our wine tour at this lovely little boutique winery. Our host was delightful, very knowledgeable of his trade, and his wine a great introduction as to what we should expect for the rest of our tour.

... his name is Glenn Symons ! He's passionate about wine making ! He's a great host and we have a fun time whenever we visit.He has the most unique "concrete" fermentation tank.... imported from France. The only wine maker in PEC using such a tank.... the results speak for themselves.

We loved the wine at Lighthall. It is a small winery - and definitely worth visiting and buying a few bottles :) The wine-maker was very helpful and knowledgeable about the business and was more than happy to answer all our questions and show us around. The drive down is beautiful as well. If you are in the area (or not) a trip to Lighthall is definitely worth it.

We were happy to be able to speak French with a winemaker of this area; his wines are very good and affordable, so do not hesitate to visit his wineyard!
