We decided to check out this old barn when on a drive near Port Perry. Besides having a wide variety of wine made right on the farm there were many other interesting gift ideas. I bought animal hats and mitts for my grandchildren - Ark Imports made with New Zealand wool for $12. They have some interesting clothing items , scarves and purses amongst other things. I liked the atmosphere and decor. I understand they also have a function room for catering upstairs in the barn. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful inside of this worn looking barn on a dirt road, The staff member was also very helpful and welcoming.

For those of you who like fruit wines ... this is a place to stop ... iced apple wine, blackcurrant wine rhubarb wine, and apple wines from different types of apples ... e.g. jonagold.There are also grape wines and if you like that old Ontario grape ... Marechal Foch ... it is here as well. It goes well with stronger flavoured meals.New this year (at least to me) is a slighly sweet apricot dessert wine.The winery is in a lovely countryside location with friendly and helpful staff.

Not every one should try to jump on the emerging " wine country " bandwagon.Calling some liquid wine don,t make it so...shame on the product they try to pass off as wine. ( maybe a roadtrip by the owners ) to Prince Edward County , to see what they should be doing...

We drop by Ocala every few months. This time we purchased the green apple, rhubbarb and pear wines. We find the choices here very appealing, and very different from what you will find at the LDBO.

We had a very nice tour of the winery and some great tastings on a Sunday afternoon. It's a great location and worth a visit.

Nice wine tasting opportunitiy AND for those who have tasted in different countries. you really can taste the diferenceWell worth a visit whatever your level of oenology. They do a good job of looking after you here.

We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent calibre of wine that we found at Ocala winery.Elisa was very knowledgable about the wine production. She was friendly, helpful and informative. There was a limited variety of grape wines but many interesting varieties of fruit wines including apricot, kiwi, apple, plum and pear to name a few. The wine tasting was fun and we purchased some great bottles to take home.

Lots of fruit wines which is interesting but wine still a little harsh for our taste.

Great place to vist..nice wines and tours a couple times a year what more can you ask for?

This is located in a pretty rolling landscape not far from Toronto. We took a wagon tour through their extensive orchards and vineyards and stopped to buy some wine. They had fruit wine made out of a wide variety of fruits, including even strawberry rhubarb. Some of the fruit wine is very sweet and for dessert, others are dry enough to serve with dinner. They don't age their wine in oak, so it has a "nouvelle" taste. People are very friendly and hospitable and they give free samples to adults.
