An amazing though small history-in-action museum. Well placed, at the first intersection on Scugog Island, just East of Port Perry. Interesting and unusual artifacts - some complete sets that you won't even see in larger museums! We happened upon it by chance and thoroughly enjoyed it all - not just buildings and every-day things but native plants, walks, carvings, cemetery; you name it, this little gem has it! You can even climb up the very basic stairs to view old bedrooms, quilts and toys, not to mention the furniture and storage. Well worth a visit for old and young alike.
