Friendly, informative staff. A fun activity as a family. The kids will be begging for more rides on the carousels and train. Parents will secretly be happy to oblige. Lovely location near the waterfront. Good value.

My 3 year old loves riding the train. It's run by dedicated volunteers who are very nice. The prices are reasonable for families. It's a nice attraction on North Bay's waterfront.

I love visiting the carousels and train ride. First I went with my niece and nephew several years ago and now it's the highlight of my summer visit with my own children. My sons are obsessed with trains so it's a big hit with them. It's very easy to navigate that area with a stroller and access it as well as there is a crosswalk to cross Memorial Drive which can get to be pretty busy in the summer.

Prices are reasonable. $2 each or three for $5. Not much you can do with $5 these days! Also, the tickets never expire so you can come back next season and use them which is nice. The little train is a fun trip. It's not long but the kids love it. Adults love it just as much as it's a fun little diversion. The large carousel is really nice and you'll find people of all ages on it. They have a smaller carousel down by the road but tend to only open it once in a while. It has carvings of strange animals not normally seen on traditional ones. They are beautiful to look at but the ride isn't much fun. I say this because it is very tiny and when it is open they tend to no open the sides so you're basically riding in a small circle in a dark tent. Hey, some people may like that but it's not really our thing :)

It was a nice short ride, but worth it just for the fun. did not dislike anything. It was near the water, but the area was a little cold so we did not stay too long,as the wind was too strong.

Amazing carousels, great for the kids. They are all handcarved and painted, really beautiful pieces of art. Attendents are seniors who can tell you stories about the carvings. these are real North Bay treasures.

So this little toy is neato. I understand someday the little train system will be bigger and kinda serve a purpose in transporting peoples around the waterfront grounds.Only extra to mention, I think kids should be FREE...

There are actually two carousels, and they are both absolutely stunning. True pieces of art and well worth a visit just to see them. The waterfront area around this attraction if lovely.

I looked up this place on trip advisor first and heard good reviews. As most reviews suggest this is great fun for the kids. My son loved it. For 2 bucks a ride the train and the carousel is worth it.
