My bridesmaids and I went to The Perfect Dress in November 2012. We found a dress, had measurements done and ordered. We picked up our dresses at the end of January. 3 of the 4 dresses looked and fit great. But, my maid of honors’ dress was one size too big – she actually paid $35 extra because the size she got put her into plus size. When we brought it to the attention of the manager, he said that she had lost weight. I said she wouldn’t lose weight in only one spot. She was re-measured and they found that the girl who had measured her was off by 3 inches in her waist. I said they need to order a new dress. He refused, saying it wasn’t the stores mistake it wasn’t’ their mistake. I said we listened to the advice from the girl who measured her. The only thing he did was refund the $35 plus size fee (but it didn’t matter because she needed to spend twice as much to alter it). The manager wasn’t even the one who told us this – it was one of the girls (he was mad at us and didn’t want to face us). All in all, the dresses look beautiful, but this mistake really made our experience a negative one.
