wonderful hands on learning experience and a good way to spend a beautiful day while educating yourself. Id reccomend this to everyone! Super cheap too, as well as an adorable gift shop with something to appeal to everyone and the money going to a good cause

We did our family pictures there and it was a nice relaxing day with the kids, they had fun running around and the visitor centre was very informative.

Excellent display of longhouses and aboriginal life. Museum is great for kids. Located in a conservation area with lots of walking trails and interesting vegetation.

This is a recreation of an actual first nations settlement in that area which in itself is very interesting but it's a long way in the middle of nowhere and it usually involves a fairly pokey tour with a lot of bored kids.

I think this is a place you should go once a year to keep your sense of history, or perhaps pre-history. They have a lot of programming and would be best to know what that is before you get there. The actual exhibits are okay but the interpreters are what makes this place interesting.

Once again, if you like to see how the native people lived way before the white man came, be sure not to miss this one. You can even take part in an archeological dig (great to teach kids). This year they have done some reno work on the site and it is better than ever.

I saw the sign and went in, I was please that I did.The site has a reconstruction of a village with a museum and films that you can choose to see.I had a good walk around and was able to see a side of history that I knew little about.

I have gone a number of time with friends and family. There are "Dig" sites and also standing structures which you can enter and see how our local Native Canadians lived back when. It is very interesting. It is not small and not huge, but has enough to offer to make for an interesting visit. I found it amazing to know that this was right in my back yard.
