This little theatre is the hub of this rural community of Forest. One of the oldest movie theatre's in North America and the world. But it is modernized. A great experience and now we attend many of the movie festivals and other events surrounding this theatre.

Where else can you go to see a movie in the old style theater experience. Great price and a nice snack bar with a little bit of everything you might want. Really brings me back to my childhood.New and up to date movies as well. Great for family and friends!

We just discovered this place as we are new to the area. It is a great place to see a movie with brand new seating in a very old style theatre. 5 dollar ticket and cheap snacks (1.50) for a family size bag of chips. The theatre is long and narrow and quite comfortable. All movies start at 8pm I believe. The washrooms are down stairs but there is a chair life on the stairs for anyone who needs it.

This cinema is tucked away in small town forest. I have been coming to it for about 30 years. Volunteers keep it running thankfully. It is reportedly one of the oldest, continually operating cinemas in Canada.The theater is long and narrow. It is still quaint even though it has newer seating installed and a digital projection/sound system.The snack bar offers all manner of movie goodies at reasonable prices.It's a real treasure to have a nice cinema in a small town that locals and visitors alike can get to easily and inexpensively. Oh yes, the ticket cost is $5.00 - $6.00 I think for 3D moviesIt's a bit of a throwback to an earlier age but that is what gives it a lot of charm. If you're in the Forest area, it's definitely worth a stop in.
