We went there on a weekend and it was busy, but we were able to drive right into the orchard. Stop at the building at the entrance and let them know you are going in. They will give you a bag that holds 20lbs of apples if you need one (or bring your own). If you just want to eat an apple or two and take the kids to the small playground they charge $3 otherwise FREE admission. When done, follow the EXIT signs, and stop at the shop to pay. Apples are sold by weight. It is drive-thru style. I like Country Apple Orchard Farm better than the nearby Pine Farms as they always have a long line to just get in and it is often muddy. Also the Country Apple Orchard has a wonderful vista of the orchard when you enter that really impresses the kids and gives you the lay of the land. Country Apple is much less commercialized than the larger operations near Toronto, such as Brooks Farms, that have all sorts of activities but charge $40+ for a family of four. There is a small playground here and tables to have a picnic, but the main thing is the hundreds of miniature apple trees that even the little kids could run up to and pick from. The trees were so heavily laden we picked over 10 pounds of apples in 5 minutes! We were done playing in about 45 minutes and no one was crying at the end because we didn't go on a ride or whatever. The pizza slices for $1 in the store were nothing special but very convenient and the apple turnovers were fresh and delicious. They also sell pies, etc.
