We had a fantastic snowmobiling experience with Yamaha Riding Adventures. We were two adults, plus a child (10). Each adult had a snowmobile, and our child was a (free) passenger on my "double" snowmobile. The instructor was very friendly and made sure we would be warm enough (they provide helmets with visors (brand new!), gloves, boots, coats and snowpants if you need them). He then gave us a lesson on a track outside the office, so we could practice turns, hills, stopping, etc. Then he guided us on the trails -- it was WONDERFUL!!! The trails are amazing -- and I am so glad we had a guide, so didn't need to worry about directions or hills, etc., as we were following his lead. Could not ask for a better experience. We will definitely be back for more snowmobiling, and very likely dirt biking and ATVing in the summer, too!

The entire staff excels at customer service. Not only was out personal guide and assistant helpful, but every single employee we encountered was friendly, helpful and encouraging. Our experience from check in to check out was done with complete consideration. In addition the trail ride was adapted to our abilities, always. So we always felt comfortable and challenged This place is wonderful fun for people of all ages and abilities, from beginner to master. ENJOY!!!

This review is for the brand new Yamaha Riding Experience in Huntsville, ON just off Hwy 60.We have rented a cottage nearby and wanted some action adventures. Boy, am I glad we chose this one!!The staff, Bob and Sean were amazing guides, we really had a great time riding the ATVs on the different tracks and on the trail. Got some rain too, so it was muuuuddddyyyy!!!My younger son had trouble with his thumb after about an hour and a half, and Bob took him to an easier trail while we were riding the full tracks with my other son. Thank you both, and we will be back next year, hopefully on dirt bikes. By that time the trails should be done.

My sons had been pressing to do this for years, so we gave in this summer with a half-day of dirt biking for four (ages 12, 15, 45 -- me! -- and 46). I was more than a little hesitant, but the instructors were fabulous -- even when I insisted on crashing at almost every corner. They stayed by my side and never gave up with their advice and words of encouragement. Admittedly, I was afraid of hurting myself, but the safety equipment made that risk minimal and the instructors were committed to helping me overcome my fear and take charge of the bike (not the bike of me!).My sons had a hoot, too. They were with their own instructor for part of the session and then they brought us together for a family ride. Near the end, they challenged us with a big hill. Our instructor had the right mix of encouragement and empathy -- he challenged my son to try it, talked him through a couple of crashes and then offered an option to us all when we agreed it was beyond our current skill level. No guilt or disappointment. This was an expensive way to spend an afternoon -- total almost $800, but the smiles (and bruise or two ;-) ) told me it was worth every penny. One word of advice: Ask about the difference between a half-day session and a 2 hour session. We paid for the half day, but spent virtually the entire time with participants from the 2 hour group. That said, the staff promised not to watch the clock...and they didn't. We dressed at 12:30, started class around 1:15 and returned to home base around 5 pm, well beyond the 3 hours we paid for.

This crew makes sure you are fully suited up and trained before letting you loose on the trails, and they stay with you even then. Our 12 year old got his own atv and drove himself for the first time, and had a blast! My hubby and I shared a Rhino (which is like a small jeep) but still loads of fun! They also have dirt bikes if you'd rather ride those. Two hours out on the trails, and they'll happily stop and help out for photo ops! We would have liked to go a bit faster and a bit bumpier (and I mean only a bit), but I am happier that safety comes first.
