Spoiler - we didn't actually do the activities - the zipline or suspension bridge, and $20 each to walk the suspension bridge, and an EXTRA $60 each to do the zipline was just a rip off. When we asked if we just do the zipline, we were told we couldn't.So, we didn't do it.Just a heads-up - I'm sure the 90 second zipline experience was good though....

My Sister dad and I were at Eagle canyon in late August. We had to be careful driving a bit on gravel road. when we arrived a lady from the picnic table pointed her hand to park in the parking lot but I got the message since it was by the office to go in and Register or pay. Just to follow rules of the bridge we had to sign papers but have them up on the signs everywhere that was a little odd but maybe for there own safety. But one thing be advised that the washrooms are secerity coded and there was a sign saying before you do your buissness do ours or meaning you have to buy or pay before you use them but they will tell you or on the Recet after I payed but they were clean. They do I think have a Rv park but it is not great and very open. price was 20 dollars for us but we didn't do the zipline but really enjoyed our hike. My sister was a bit nervous but she managed. When I walked on it it sways a bit. you are very high up on both of them. But the first one is shorter, if you look at the map try to do that one first and save the last one for the best the hike is Kind of like a figure 8 loop. After the second longest bridge you can go down a long set of stairs to the canyon bottom and then you will know how high you really were on the 2 bridges. We enjoyed our Beatuiful walk by the water to and you loop back to the parking lot. The bridges are still fun if you just wish to only do the walk. It only takes a hour or so to do but you can take your time. hours I think are from 10:00 to 6:00. As another reviewer said as she arrived 20 minutes before closeing time be advised the 2 bridges are about a 10 to 15 minute walk up a steep path. But going down one set of very long stairs is easer but no stairs and a easy walk back to the parking lot as you follow the map.

The setting for this natural amusement park* is beautiful. The scenery and geologic features are more accessible than the canyon views in Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park, but then the price difference needs to be reckoned with.* I wouldn't use this expression if the company did not include "adventures" in its nameTo put things into perspective, I can spend 3 hours in an aerial park (treetop obstacles + zip lines) near my home for about $35. The zip line here might be one of the longest, but the ride is over in about a minute, and cost $60!The trail and suspension bridges provide some of the best views I have ever seen, but the walk is over in less than an hour and should probably cost $10 instead of the $20 that they charge. We went to Ouimet Canyon after being at Eagle Canyon, and the total admission cost for the 3 of us was $5. Yes, it's a different experience, but much more family friendly (from a cost perspective).A family of 4 would need to pay $20 each for the walk + $60 each for the zip line experience ($320). I allowed myself the guilty pressure of taking the zip line, but my wife bowed out because of the cost. At these prices, this destination is best suited for young couples on a date than it would be for families. I enjoyed my brief time here, but I won't be a repeat customer.

At this adventure you really have to "pay to play".Being a local yokel to the area I have already been to this site twice. We had relatives visiting from out of town and having done the suspension bridge tour twice already did not really want to do it a third time. Three relatives from out of town were interested in doing the zipline... $20 admission plus $60 more for the zipline experience = $240.When I inquired as to if it would be possible to just wait at the dock where the ziplines finished their trip i was bruskly informed that NO ONE LEAVES THE PARKING LOT WITHOUT PAYING $20.Needless to say i informed them that I guess no one would be coming.If they feel the need to charge $20 per person to stand and watch at the bottom, then they just lost $240 in revenue... because they felt the need to charge $80 for viewing.Not good business practice.

It was magnificent!!! Owners and personnel very helpful and informative. We strolled along the trail which had ample resting places. The bridges are beautifully engineered and feel very safe. Great place to visit. Highly recommended.

Nice friendly people..treated us well..beautiful place,went to both bridges,walked down the stairs and path..they have picnic tables where we ate lunch..they do shuttle you if you want..saw someone doing the treetop thing..

We spent a week in Thunder Bay and stumbled upon this place. My entire extended family all went and everyone had a great time. This place is set around a very deep Canyon. The hike takes you across two long suspension bridges. One was listed at 300 meters and a 600 meter. These were high and long. If your afraid of heights this will make you sweat. The hike isn't crazy long, but takes over an hour or two at a leisurely pace. We had two kids ages 2-4, and three ages 9-12 and they walked it without fear. My 9 year old daughter was scared but walked across both bridges. I had to keep her in conversation to control her anxiety though and she was a bit distraught. I admit, the sheer height was freaky to me as well and though I loved it, I was happy each time I made it across to the other side. Both my brothers and their wives and my 66 year old father all made it with ease, and my dad had both knees replaced a year ago and didn't find the hike to straining. My mom is afraid of heights and stayed back with the cars. The cost was $20 each person for this part. Some of us opted additionally to do the zip line as well. That was a separate and additional $80. But we felt the zip line was the best part by far. My brother and his 11 year old boy went, first time ever for both. My 12 year old daughter and I went, we have zip lined before elsewhere. My 9 year old daughter wanted to go, but was still recovering from the walk across the last bridge. She gave her ticket to my 66 year old father who went, first time on zip line for him also. The zip line is stationed at the end of the last suspension bridge walk. (If you zip line only, you simply go right to this area without the bridge walks and hike.) If you do the hike also, you zip line down to near the end after the walk is mostly done. The rest of our party continued on past the zip line to a long set of stairs leading down the side of the canyon and met us at the end where the zip line also ends. The zip line was smooth and one second after you got going you were looking at the canyon and everyone that did it just enjoyed it completely. They had great safety equipment and triple attach points. Very safe and none of us felt scared at all. How could you get scared when you were zipping thru such a beautiful place and looking all around?! They say it's almost a minute ride, but it feels quicker than you want. I wanted to do again! After that we went back to gift shop and bought ice cream and went home. All the workers at the zip line were awesome and friendly. I saw a comment posted in another review about the older lady that is in the gift shop selling tickets and agree, she could rub someone wrong. She was fine with us, nothing to complain about, but she wasn't overly impressive. Though I certainly wouldn't let that take away from this place. Go, walk, zip, and you can thank me later.

We visited the Canyon on a really hot day last month and pretty much had the park to ourselves. It was great fun hiking up to the bridges - the view is spectacular in both directions from both suspension bridges. My husband and I hiked down through the gorge on well marked trails - a great vantage point for our sons as they zip lined overhead. The staff were very helpful and I would definitely return on my next trip to the area. About 1 hr from Thunder Bay but completely worth the drive.

My husband and I were driving from Sault Ste Marie to Thunderbay with our 2 teenagers, when the sign for Eagle Canyon jumped out at us along the highway. Everyone was excited to get out and stretch our legs, and seeing as we still had 25 mins until closing time, we decided to venture off the beaten path. We pulled into the parking lot, but before we could even get out of our car, an older woman rose from a picnic table where 6 people sat, and with a miserable look on her face marched (yes marched, with closed fists clenched to her sides) over and rapped on my passenger side window. "If you want a tour, too bad. We close in 20 mins." I mumbled something about our long drive, and "would it be possible to at least SEE the suspension bridge?" Her curt reply? "I already told you, NO. Come back some other time". She then turned on her heel, and rejoined the group drinking beer outside of the office. Picking up her beer and turning her head, she flicked her other hand in our general direction, sending us on our way. Needless to say, we drove off extremely angry, and will NOT be returning. That beer must have been worth FAR more than the approx. $400 we would have spent to take her "tour". On a side note, I'd be worried for any future guests being strapped into safety harnesses by her and her lazy employees...

The longest zipline in Canada and 2 suspension bridges in one visit. We were in the middle of a very long drive and this attraction is only a few km off the main road from Sault Ste Marie to ThunderBay. Steep hike up to the first bridge, although they also have a very pleasant gentleman who runs up and down with a buggy to take those of us that don't do steep! Lovely view down the gorge from both bridges... zipline flies right down the river from the highest suspension bridge. 1/2 mile, 2600 feet - gets up to maybe 40-45km and runs right through the trees ending over the lake. Very pretty. Great family run business, we've done many ziplines and the price isn't out of whack. We were lucky that it wasn't too busy, could have quite a long line if the weather brought out the crowd. First come first served and no bookings except for groups.
