This is a nice hike. Bring a lunch and spend a few hours, or you can see it in one to two hours if your rushed. No cost. Interesting caves. Nice views.

The caves are a very neat sight. The walk there is also fantastic, especially in the fall. The area is humid most of the time so there is moss on nearly every surface. Wear proper footwear for climbing over rocks and the likes and you'll have a great time.

Husband and I came from Inglis Falls via Harrison Park at Owen Sound. Expected to see similar signs. But nooooo. It's a guessing game when you go visit Bruce Caves.First, the roadside sign is inconspicuous, a simple sign and a small parking area. And then the sign at a fork that leads to the conservation area's parking area, and a sign that says "no buses allowed further" or something.But from the parking area, there's no clear sign where the caves are. Sure, there's a sign that says "Burce Caves Conservation Area" and another for the Bruce Trail "use at your own risk". We went back to the fork thinking that the other road would lead to the cave. There was even a sign that welcomes you to the caves.Further along, we saw a warning sign for a stop sign. Then we reached another fork with the stop sign. A stop sign in the middle of the forest? There was even a sign for other towns and how far they were. But no sign where the caves were. We took the road on the right but ended up in a clearing. It was an actual road, but dunno where it leads to.We went back to the for, saw the Bruce Trail signs at the side of the road and followed that. There was a sign for the Bruce Caves finally. But that trail would lead you back to the parking lot.We finally decided to take the not-so-distinct trail where the sign for the conservation area is. And we saw people. So we were on the right track finally. No signs at all, unlike when you take the Bruce Trail.The cave itself wasn't impressive. Nice walk through the forest on a humid day, though.

We were expecting sth more impressive..... The trail is not indicated, you have to guess. If you're not wearing good shoes is better not to do it.

I really enjoyed the hike and the caves were very impressive. It is a must see if you are staying in the area.

This was a great place for a quick visit, but very rocky so decent runners/ boots are a must. It would be tough to get around for some, but we and our 6 year old son enjoyed it. Amazing to see!!

For those frugal sight seers who get turned off but crowds but turned on by neat, Bruces caves are for you. A little out of the way conservation area just outside Wiarton (not on the beaten path) you will find a lovely short walk to a spectacular natural phenomenon. What awaits is a huge cave you can walk all the way through. But beware the pigeon who lies in wait!!Tired from your trip; spend the night at Island B and B. The best $125 you will ever spend!!Pam

Wish I had more mobility, younger people and kids would love this.Caves were really big but hard to get to for people with mobility issues

These caves are only a few minutes down the road from the Waterview property and well worth the 10 minute hike through the lush and quiet forest. The caves are open structures and don't require repelling or climbing but are impressive in their formation. A good photo op for the scrapbook.
