We spentl three wonderful days at Inverhuron Provincial Park in Sept. We brought along visitors from England who could not get over the large well looked after sites. The fall is a lovely time to walk the trails because the park is not so full. The beach is stony with some sand and we noticed that the park is expanding. Staff is friendly and helpful in selecting the right site. We wanted something away from others because I'd brought my guitar and we wanted an evening of sitting around the fire singing. The three days and nights were perfect.

This is a very good park. Great location on Lake Huron, nice sandy beach, bedrock outcrops on the lake, attractive camp sites with lots of privacy. The world's largest nuclear generating station is located next door and its Bruce Power Visitor's Centre makes a great educational visit. A trip to nearby Kincardine is very worthwhile for shopping, a restaurant, or their beautiful beach. Well worth a visit.

Breath taking. Simply one of the most beautiful places in Ontario. The beach is amazing, the sunsets are spectacular. The local people are super friendly. It has something for everyone. This is a must see.

Inverhuron continues to be one of our favourite parks. The beach is gorgeous, the sites are exceptionally private and the trails are great. Such a lovely natural setting.

One of the best provincial parks in the system yet to be discovered. This place is going through an expansion so enjoy it while it's quite. Plenty of different eco systems within the park. Amazing privacy at the sites. Out site was surrounded by a dense forest and I could not see my neighbours. Nice but a small clean beach to swim at and old sea bed rock formations. Clean comfort stations. Walk down to the shale beach at night for the sunset. We were surprised it was such a nice park. Comfortable driving distance to Sauble Beach.

I'm from the Woodstock area and have been to a number of the S-W Ontario Prov Parks... We went to Inverhuron in late June before school got out. The sites are better for privacy than Port Burwell, although the roads in Burwell are easier to back our 29'er in from... The beach is beautiful but short - If it's beach you're looking for go to Long point. The trail that goes around the park is very cool and well groomed, but not as awesome as the trails at Rondeau... Turkey Point has an in-park golf course, Inverhuron has the most interesting in-park cemetary (walking through that was incredible !!) . The draws that will take me back to Inverhuron are the following : The most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, the quality of the sites (both for privacy, and newness (I'll mention that in the next paragraph)), the cemetary is incredible, I want to tour the Bruce Nuclear plant ( which is literally next door), there is also some massive chunks of coal to look at on the the shale near the water (and I mean Massive!!), and did I mention the SUNSETS !! Also a side note about the sites. The park was shut-down a long time ago because of heavy water from 'The Bruce'. The Bruce paid to have a new park built intstead - MacGregor. Since this park was closed for so long, the sites have that 'new' feeling to them - they haven't been flattened and ripped up from vehicles and people over the years... yet. This park is truly a gem and a pleasure to go to and relax. But don't expect to stay busy here - just enjoy.. I'm off to MacGregor this Aug... See you there !!

We stayed at Inverhuron July Long Weekend 2014. This was a small park with deep private sites that were well spaced. We couldn't see our neighbors from our site. Park Wardens were actively patrolling the grounds at night and were very quick to silence the folk that were too loud. The Comfort Stations were kept very clean. If I had a complaint it would be the crushed rock (gravel) pads. They were difficult to hammer in pegs for our tent. Over all we had a wonderful time, and look forward to returning again one day.

For first time campers we thought we'd try Inverhuron Park since we live close by. We loved it. Very private sites, good washroom facilities and the beach is great. We kayaked in the lake and biked the trails. Will definitely return.

Been to Inverhuron 2 summers in a row now. We have a 35ft travel trailer which we easily managed to get into one of the large pull-through sites in the Lime Kiln campground. Not much around the park to do unless you head into Kincardine. The park has lots of room for biking. Although a great park, I was disapointed last time I visited (May 2014) because a lot of the main hiking trail was closed off due to construction.

Another lovely, small park on gorgeous Lake Huron. We camped here on an August weekend in 2013 and really enjoyed how quiet the park felt because of its small size. There is only one hiking trail in the park so we won’t be coming here very often in the spring, but our plan was to spend most of our time at the beach, and we did. The beach is excellent – soft sand and shallow entrance to the lake. Our campsite was hard packed gravel, as are all of the other campsites we saw. This made for difficult pegging and a bit of dust, but was well worth it because the sites are very private. We probably had the most private site we’ve had in any park in recent years, and there seemed to be a number of other similar sites.
