A decent place to take a friend who has never been on a horse before. You will probably not be with your friend because there is a certain order they put you in depending on the horse. We did see some cool wildlife! Staff are young and not very organized. The trail riding itself was a good length but only two short trots were included.

I agree this area is beautiful , at least it use to be, now its more like an off leash dog park. We went today to have a good walk with our children and found you can't enjoy the beauty around you because your too busy looking down at your feet to avoid dog feces.....it's everywhere. Come on people I have two dogs as well that we did take , on leash , and they were picked up after, as a respectful person I do understand that some people are not dog people. There were so many dogs off leash , one even jumped up at my son and hit him in the face. While arriving in the parking area one lady let her dog out of the car, he used the bathroom in the parking area and she just left it there. There are signs up stating that dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after but obviously it is not being enforced...so what's the point. Soon the few areas we do have left in the city to enjoy will be taken over by people that have no consideration for anyone else or for the wilderness that so many people just want to enjoy, and last I checked dogs are not part of the wilderness people go see or walk in. Please people clean up your act so everyone can enjoy.

This is a wonderful area to take your 4 legged friends for a good walk and even a swim in the pond in warmer weather. There is a large open area where you can have a picnic any time of the year. Free parking, free entry and a popular spot for groups to take their dogs for a run or just to hike with friends.

Great place to walk around and see wildlike > take your book on bird watching as there are lots of varieties in this area that are not easily found elsewhere. Trails were well maintained but wet spots > we went 1 day after a heavy rain, but was good as there were lots of birds out collecting various bugs that they may not have been as active on a hot summer day.

Completed a walk of some of the many trails, which in April have numerous muddy sections, but with the proper footwear were very walkable. Today I photographed numerous bird species, including Eastern Bluebird, Wood Duck and White-breasted Nuthatch. There were signs of deer, along every trail, although I did not see any – it is evident they are around. A great area for adults and children, and provided you stay on the gravel road, which runs through the conservation area, is wheelchair accessible.
