often waves but great fun with board or lilo surfing.very good beach café. loungers available ,free for hotel guests, 50tt for others.

Lovely beach for 'wave jumping'. pleasant and friendly waitress in the beach bar, and reasonably priced food.

The resort above it is dying but the beach is idyllic, where in 1957 Robert Mitchum and Deborah Kerr filmed the classic “Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison."

Lovely beach area down 124 steps. My first experience with boarding, had a fantastic time.Bar onsite, very friendly, great service.

Beach nice - sea a little rough. Good beach bar and the food was good. There was some seaweed but this was apparently the time of the year

We love the setting of the Blue Haven in Bacolet Bay - this hotel has character beyond the corporate chains. We have stayed many times over the and look forward to our next visit.

The hotel needs a lick of paint but the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is stunning and the food is good.

small cove excellent swimming and a great beach bar for lunch. beach is clean and there was a lifeguard at weekends

Lovely calm beach. There are sunbeds, a bar with lunch options, and a caretaker that can give you a coconut for a good price and show on how to find them. The Atlantic Coast is generally more ruff with higher waves. This beach has some but they are gental and the beach is not steap or to shallow. Close to Scarborough. For me this was the perfect beach.

the beach is just a few steps down from the hotel, the waves are very big and the sea is generally rough, when the boat comes from trinidad at certain times, it is unsafe to bathe, but the water otherwise, is crystal clear and the sand is bleach brown, the is a bar and a swing set there, the beach doesn't get deep until about quarter mile out, very beautiful place indeed would surely visit again! also, there is no bathroom since the beach is part of the hotel, but there is a pipe that pumps water for you to wash off
