If you enjoy coral and wish to go snorkeling directly from the beach, Smith's Reef is your best pick! Use preferably the West access (at the tip of Turtle Cove) and walks 300 meters (300 large steps) towards the East. This is the best place to enter the water. Look around, since this part of Smith's Reef is indeed a collection of small reefs. Don't miss a larger chunk near the closest green buoy in front of you! And watch out for the resident couple of eagle rays... Most of the time, they hide under a thin layer of sand, but they fly around so gracefully! Also, beautiful and relax turtles let you observe them from close...

Gorgeous unspoilt beaches clear seas. Lots of marine life and flat child friendly beaches for playing on. Really top notch

The all inclusive hotels have their own chairs on their beaches but the Princess Alexandra National Park trails and beaches are open to the public. We were there in "high season" and we never encountered large crowds of people.

This park is a good attempt at trying to preserve the area for the future .Vegetation and the reef are being preserved.

Difficult access and located far from everything. Fairly rough road driving in, but regardless you will need to park the car and hike in.
