This facility closed several years ago, but is the only place on GT where you can tale the most incredible photos of GT and the surrounding island and the incredible water colours

This location is basically shut down now so the trip over is not worth it. Although the sign pole with the location directions and mile markings makes and awesome family picture. The old boat is also a good photo op as well but outside of that don't bother.

It sadly closed about 2-3 years ago and is slowly rotting away....sad because it has some of the most spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding Cay's islands...exspect a bumbpy ride as it is all rocky road but worth the view

So well done! The presentation was first class and the people very friendly and helpful. To bad Carnival Cruise lines did not support this local undertaking and it's work!

Conch World was set up to support and preserve the conch population around Grand Turk. it is surprisingly interesting. as conch is about the only cash crop here, it is also extremely important. Well worth a couple of hours, and with great views of the eastern reefs.

My family and i were looking to see more of the Island, we had read the reviews and figured we would check it out for ourselves. Don't Bother! We arrived and met "Denver" our "tour guide". Once our twelve bucks (cash only) per adult was secure in his cash register and after a brief explanation of the farming process, Denver really set expectations for the rest of the 15 minute tour (only that long because we asked a lot of questions) by explaining that because they are "renovating" they are not in a production year. The facility looks like it was abandoned in the 90's, and they haven't produced anything since. Seems to me that Denver stumbled upon the land and hasn't left since.

If there was a tour, it was all closed off by the time we got there. We sat down at the Naked Conch as we were pretty hungry, and waited a while and then ordered. Nothing available - no fish! - except for conch fritters and salad and cheeseburgers, so we ordered those. There were maybe 10 other people there. we waited for more than half an hour - no word from our waitress - and got up to leave. When we told the girl to cancel our order, she said it was coming right up. Think we had the previous order from someone who had walked out already as everything was cold )in 90 degree weather), and although the cheeseburgers and fritters were OK, the conch salad (ordered as extra spicy) had NO flavor. Sorry they don't have their act together, but for the time being don't waste your time.

Had contacted the attraction before leaving UK.They agreed they would be open for tours on day sated. When we got there in the morning,we were told they had done the tour for the day.[They had not given us a time to be there by]A lady contacted some one about it.We were told we could hang around and see if he could get back within the hour.We decided to not wait.As it happened it took about an hour to get a taxi back.As we were leaving the gentleman concerned arrived but did not offer as there was only the two of us.I would not recommend wasting the money on a taxi.

Got to Conch World and waited about an hour between 8:45am and 9:30am and no one showed up to give us a tour. We left and went down to the Light House where I talked to a taxi cab driver. He stated that the generators were broke there and they have been closed for about 2 weeks waiting for repair parts. Make sure they are open if you plan to go.Bob

Conch World was one of the highlights to our trip to Grand Turk. We rented a moped just outside of the cruise center, and toured the island on our own. I had read about Conch World, but didn't want to spend the $60 for the tour offered by our cruiseline...so we found the place on our own! Turns out, it's only $15 to do the tour if your purchase your ticket at the door. The one thing that we really enjoyed was the restaurant inside Conch World. It's very small and quaint, but they do wonders with conch! We tried the conch salad and conch fritters, and both were delicious! Also, the view from the restaurant (and from Conch World generally) is gorgeous! Definitely a must-see if visit Grand Turk.
