We saw a local high school production that happened to be playing while we were in town. It was actually quite good. As for the theatre though, the inside was not at all what we expected. We were anticipating old, hot and cramped, given its age. However the inside has been clearly updated. The seats were roomy and very plush. The A/C is on over drive and was actually very very cold. So wear long pants, maybe even a sweater, and you'll have a good time.Great location close to the Plaza.

Un edificio bien rehabilitado y conservado. Sorprendentemente grande para la ciudad de Ponce en la que todo es moderado en tamaño.

Solo se puede ver por fuera la estructura.Por dentro lo he visitado para alguna precentacion de un show y comedia.

la entrada única me hace recordar la ruinas del Partenon de Gracia... lo unico malo es que no tiene estacionamiento

Cuando deseas darle vida a tu imaginación y a la vez tener obras de teatro de calidad en el área sur de PR, El Teatro La Perla, es el lugar mágico para encontrarlo. Tiene muchos años de historia que contar y muchas obras que han pasado por su escenario. En el escenario es donde los actores dan vida a sus personajes y el teatro el lugar mágico donde todo comienza a brillar y a crear esa ilusión de interacción con el público. La educación y cultura son importantes en un país.Ponce se viste de gala cada vez que el Teatro La Perla sube su telón y la función comienza.
