La Torre de Piedra is located at Monte Del Estado or State Mountain park. Build out of stone it is now and observation towel that will aloud you to see most of the west coast. As far as Añasco and Mayagüez or down to Lajas, Cabo Rojo, Hormigueros, Sabana Grande, Guanica and part of Yauco. In the stone tower area you will find camping gounds with swiming pool, basketball court, volleyball and kids play ground. Own by the goverment your stay in this area will be cheap in price. Open year long. Cabins are equipment. Just bring sheet, pots and grocery.

Nice place to get away from society. Nice view of the island and keep touch with your inner spirit. But be aware not many places to eat.

We stumbled upon this tower on our way through Route 120. We stopped and climbed the stairs to the top and saw the spectacular view. If you passing by, make sure you stop.

This tower on Route 120 to Maricao has great views of the south western coast of Puerto Rico. The tower stands about 3,000 feet above sea level so on a clear day you'll be able to see "La Parguera", the bay of Guanica, the lighthouse of Cabo Rojo, among other sites. It is a recommended stop before going to Maricao.

Fui por primera ves con mi pareja y es super hermoso, mas a 5 min esta el centro vacional de maricao y es en buen sitio para quedarse si te gusta la naturaleza y la tranquilidad esta equipado con todo nevera,estufa,chimenea,barbecue, lo q no encontramos fue un restarante cerca ya q no hay nada. Pero por lo demas excelente .naturaleza

Cuando subes en la torre veras desde Mayaguez hasta Ponce, tiene una vista hermosa donde veras toda la costa si no esta cubierto de niebla que es bastante comun en el area, sobre todo despues de llover. Pero aun asi ver la neblina es expectacular, pero deben tener cuidado por que la calle tiene muchas curvas. Rapido despues de la torre de piedra esta el Centro Vacacional de Maricao donde pueden refugiarse si esta lloviendo. Son escaleras estrechas por lo que no lo recomiendo para personas con dificultad para caminar.
