Since we were having trouble establishing contact with another company on the island that also offers hang gliding excursions, we thought we’d give this place a chance. I called the number listed on their website and talked to Rob. I asked him if he had availability for the date and time we were looking for. He said that he did. I asked if they offered transportation to and from the site. He said “not exactly” and that while they could not pick us up from the hotel, that he could have us picked up “nearby”. Sounded kinda shady. We were having a hard time understanding each other (me because of his accent, and him because I was calling him from a noisy sidewalk). I told him that I would follow up our conversation with an email and that we could finalize arrangements from there. I emailed him back to get details about transportation and a few other general questions (to be fair the first email was kicked back, even thought I cut and paste the email address from the website. I resent the email 2 days later after I learned it never went through). Never received a reply. Sent him another email not long before we were supposed to arrive in Puerto Rico. Still no reply. Finally I get a voicemail from him AFTER the time that we had initially arranged to go hang gliding. No respect for my time. I didn’t even bother to call him back. Don’t waste your time.

Trying new experiences and although afraid of heights, it was an amazing and liberating feeling. Watching my beautiful island from above I felt free and comfortable with my instructor who not only was excellent but also sensitive to my fears. I would definitely do it again as long as Roberto is my guide..: ))

When I arrived I was nervous, once I was greeted by Roberto and he explained in details, I felt relaxed. He has approximately 22 years of experience and is known to be one of the best hand gliding instructors. Once approaching our destination of 2500 feet, I felt free, like a bird, enjoying the beautiful view. I highly recommend Adventuras Borincanas. I will be back in October. Thank you Roberto for the awesome experience. Bucket list accomplished. Wepa!!!

i arrived ON TIME to my appointment & was able to hang glide for about 20 minutes without a problem. the winds were right for flight because wind patterns become stronger midday. timing is important for safety while hang gliding. if you're flying tandem through strong winds you might end up dead. it's an adrenaline rush like no other, but is a risky in unstable winds so be ON TIME TO FLY . that being said, the prices for aventuras borincanas are a true steal considering you're spending almost half an hour flying over a beautiful landscape such as puerto rico. there's nothing like it. this service also helped me to find hidden gems on the island such as numerous waterfalls, window cave, camuy caves (under water adventure with rappeling & hiking), la cuerva de los indios, toro negro, zip lining, sky diving, the most beautiful beaches, camp spots, & where to find the best food. i actually wanted to pay more for the service i received because my stay at P.R was enriched tremendously thanks to aventuras borincanas. employees are extremely warm & inviting. they make you feel at home. i didn't have time to bungee jump or paraglide but i am already planning to come back...and yes, i certainly plan on using aventuras borincanas again on my next trip. this service cannot be compared to anything else on the island. it's basically a travelers dream come true. tourists' treasure without a doubt. thank you aventuras borincanas!

We didn't had any personal issues, closing of the federal government force us to close also for 3 months with some required permissions and licenses on they're side. we been operating to full capacity after we receive our renewed certificates.
