Lovely volunteer showed us round the small area of the herb garden which had a comprehensive collection, should have taken notebook to try to remember names of plants.

Lovely gardens full of interesting plants, fruits, spices, etc. A must-see attraction for any gardeners and an interesting and relaxing tour for non-gardeners too :-)

We really enjoyed the tour given by our lovely guide (her name escapes me but she has been there for years and knows the plants, herbs & spices intimately). Nice and relaxed place to spend an hour and a few spices for sale at good prices with no pressure.

Visited here in 2013, wanted to revisit in Feb 2015 but it was closed on the only open day we had. Very interesting, knowledgeable staff. It's amzing what a blade of grass or what you thought was a weed can do!

No one there when we called, garden was unkempt and not maintained to any standard. We were not expected a manicured show garden but this was a near wilderness.

This spice garden is interesting in that the tour gives you a lot of information about different plants and spices and their culinary and medicinal uses. However, it looked very run down - I had expected much more luxuriant vegetation, and a good spice shop, whereas the shop had very little in it.

We hired a car and drove to Laura's Herb & Spice Garden following a review we had read. This is such an interesting place to visit and we had a personal tour from Hazel who was really well informed and lovely. It was a must to see how the spices and herbs of Grenada grow and get the chance to smell the petals etc. It's off the beaten track but definitely worth a visit.

This was fairly informative though a bit rushed guide to the flora on the Island. If you're interested in learning more I would recommend hiring a guide for the day who knows a bit about the spices and the flora and can take you to various places to see how they are processed.

We hired a taxi from the cruise terminal with another couple for $50. This included visiting Westerhall Estate and a return trip to the main cruise terminal. The drive up through the hills was a wonderful climb. The island can be seen from different lovely views. When we arrived to Laura's Herb and Garden, we joined a tour in progress. We enjoyed all the herbs in the well planned gardens. The guide was quite informative about the herbs and their medicinal purposes. We thoroughly enjoyed touching and smelling the plants! Cinnamon, nutmeg and other spices and herbs are for sale in the office.
