We went there on a week day and there was anyhow a nice crowed dancing in the cave. It opened at 11 pm and cost 3cuc to get in. It was a good mixture of foreigners and cubans and we had some good fun until 1 am when many left.

A 10-minute uphill walk on stony, uneven ground and a half-hour wait to gain entry (for 3 CUC which includes a free drink) is worth it if you want a less traditional, more Ibiza-esque night out - live DJs playing a mix of UK/US/salsa dance tracks. If you're planning on wearing heels, bring a pair of flats to get there and back.

In a guide book we read about this disco within a cave and since our casa wasn´t too far away we gave it a try.At the driveway of the Hotel La Cueva we asked how to get there and followed the instructions until there was a construction site where we were told to walk around it. It was dark and narrow and we weren´t quite sure if this wasn´t some kind of trap :-DThe entrance to the cave disco cost 3 CUC (Thursday). The prices for the drinks were (compared to German clubs) very low. They played all kinds of music (reggaeton, salsa, house,...) and the dancefloor was full by 11pm.We had a great, memorable evening!

The best night out we had in Cuba - a truly unique experience clubbing in a cave! Cheap entry, cheap drinks, great Cuban 'reggeton' music, and YOU'RE IN A CAVE!!! Don't leave Trinidad or Cuba for that matter without visiting.
