Trinidad is of course beautiful and wondefully restored - and touristy - but what lifts it up from being "just" beautiful and touristy is its fascinating history. No place better to get a glimpse into this than the local history museum. Climb the tower for the best view of the town!

The famous view was here from the top of the house. That's one reason to visit the house. The rest was not that interesting, but the entrance hall is also beautiful.

The history of the revolution, Che and Castro very interesting, lots of photographic evidence, maps uniforms etc. at the end there are lots of photographs of those young men who took part very sad.

When you visit Trinidad ,amazing architecture of an old building which has been restored ,with a lovely courtyard .Many if the original features have been kept and it is now used as a museum .The exhibits are well displayed with friendly staff .An interesting feature is the tower which gives views across the city .

Very well presented museum set out with courtyard in the centre. Gives a good indication of historic grand life with lots of original features and exhibits on display. There is a tower which provides excellent panoramic views of the town so don't be put off by the very tight, steep stairs. They are very tight and not suitable for those who are unsteady on their feet.
