Stopped here to snorkel and albeit we weren't in cruise ship season we were the only people here. We snorkelled the small bay and saw great fish including a school of 4' plus Tarpons. There wasn't really a great spot that we could find to enter the water but once in, the water was fairly deep throughout. There are strong currents and waves here as it is a small bay so some snorkelling skill is required and fins are a must.
Quebermuda

We had a car and couldn't dive anymore as we were flying out the next morning. So we drove all the way west to Washington-Slagbaai Park. I can't really say it was worth it. Most of the scenery is just cactuses and goats. It takes an hour to get to the park and at least two hours to do the short route to the beach, and we're glad we didn't do the long route as we got kind of bored with the scenery. The Playa Funchi beach was OK, but I can't say it was worth an entire afternoon of our 3-day stay in Bonaire to go see a flock of flamingoes. At least the park entrance fee was included in the price of the diving permit.
Scubaab

This is a dive site where you will be greeted by many lizards. There is also a flamingo spotting opportunity. When it is time to drive off make sure you chase the lizards away as they will be hiding under your car.
Cmud

Very pretty beach on the rough side of the island. No sandy entry, but great for pictures, snorkling, etc.
Harleyz

What a cool little beach, although you must drive about half way through the park to get to it. On one side of the road is a brackish lake, complete with brine shrimp, birds and flamingos. On the other side is a great snorkeling beach, easy to enter, relatively calm water, some nice coral formations, good fish viewing. There are also many lizards in this parking area, what fun to watch.

Worth the stop if driving through the Washington-Slagbaai National Park in Bonaire. The water from cliff-top is crystal clear. From 100' up you can easily spot Parrot Fish swimming below. We didn't dive this site but the divers coming out were pleased with their dive.Keep an eye out for the Pink Flamingos in the nearby salt pans.

Uno dei tantissimi spot di snorkeling del parco. A noi è piaciuto, ci siamo divertiti. Prima di uscire abbiamo visto un granchio enorme.

Como todas as outras pequenas praias do Washington-Slagbaai National Park, linda e imperdível. Só acessível de carro a partir de Kralendijk, cidade principal da ilha.

De meeste duikplekken in het nationale park zijn verwoest door orkaan Lenny in 1999, ook Omar in 2008 deed de koralen geen goed in het park. Ik vond de duiken in het park qua koraal echt deprimerend. Wat wel gaaf was, dat ik hier voor het eerst een nurse shark heb gezien.
