Upon reaching the park, we could hear the sounds of spring water not long after. There were quite a number of people filling their bottles with the water so we decided to give it a try too. Turned out that the spring water was really nice! Quite thirst-quenching on a hot day too. :)

We visited the springs in May, but I am sure that this spot would be beautiful at any time of the year, so it is well worth a visit when touring the area; and do remember to take a large container with you - you are welcome to take the spring water, and it really is like drinking fresh air - and makes lovely tea or coffee. Parking is easy (without spoiling the park), and it is well maintained - without spoiling a natural feel. It is very relaxing to stroll around the paths, over bridges, etc. Delightful!

I was skeptical at first, with an attraction where you'd go and taste pure spring water. It was on the way, so it was really convenient. But I was positively amazed at the place. It was snowing when we arrived, so it was really cold, but it provided the most wonderful background winter sceneries. The bridges, the streams, the trees, and of course the mini falls right near where the pure spring water comes out, all just like in a postcard.There are cups for you to use at the spring, but these are shared. So it's better to bring your own cups or empty bottles for sanitary purposes. Just make sure your own cup and bottles are clean as not to contaminate the water there.We didn't see much of the facilities like shops or places to buy food, but we were able to use the toilet facilities and it was clean and well kept.

道の駅に隣接している公園です。ただの公園ではなく、湧き水が飲める公園です。お水は冷たくてとっても美味しいです！寒い時期に行くと頭がキーンとなってしまうかもしれないですが。。売店でペットボトルを販売しているので、汲んで帰ることもできます。でも保存料なしの自然の水なので、お早めに召し上がってください。

羊蹄山の東側にある、湧水の公園です。道の駅「名水の郷きょうごく」も併設されており、公園内には名水プラザ、三角ステージ、トイレ棟、販売施設、遊具などの施設や芝生広場などが配置されています。ふきだし公園は環境庁の名水百選に選ばれた「羊蹄のふきだし湧水」があり、名水を求める多くの地元民や観光客が訪れていました。

旅行会社のツアーで、最後の観光地から空港までの間の休憩地に指定されていました。無添加ソフトクリームや名水を使ってたてたコーヒーがおすすめです。お水も汲めます。ドライバーの皆さんには休憩場所としてもおすすめしたいと思います。

京極町の近くを通った時はここへよります。水を汲む目的もありますが、水が沸いたマイナスイオンたっぷりの講演を歩くととても癒されます。近隣や遠くからたくさんの方がきているようです。近くに売店もあり、ペットボトルの販売や、台車の貸し出しもしています。駐車場から、少し歩くので、大量に持ち帰る場合は無理せず台車を借りるのも手だと思います。

湧き水をくみに行くだけでなく、駐車場に隣接した公園では遊具もあって、子連れで一日楽しめます。また、近くに温泉もあるので、家族で水を汲みに行きながら、遊んでこられるところです。札幌からでも車で１時間半あれば行かれる距離ですので、週末、天気のいい日に訪れるのがいいと思います。

羊蹄山をドライブして京極町に立ち寄った際は、パットボトルを持参してぜひ立ち寄ってください。売店にはカラのペットボトルを販売していますので購入されてもいいでしょう。近くには公園もあり、子供連れでも楽しめるスポットです。あと、ソフトクリームがおいしかったな。

何度か来ていますが、必ず美味しい名水を求めて来ている人が何人も、何組も見られます。直近では昨年7月に訪問したのですが、夏本番が近い暑い日だというのに水がとても冷たく、本当に水が美味しく感じられました。帰ってから飲んでももちろん美味く、もっと水を汲んでおけば良かったと思ってしまいました。ぜひ、ペットボトルかタンクを持参のうえ、ドライブの際に訪問してみてください。自然がいっぱいなだけでなく、公園らしく遊具もあります。　海の日過ぎの夏本番以降だと虫も多くなってしまうので、それよりちょっと前のゴールデンウィーク後半から7月上旬がベストだと、私自身は思います。
