Absolutely beautiful hill covered with tiny pink and white flowers. You can view the park up close on foot via paths and steps among the hills or take a tram tour around the park to the cafe at the top, or for a more exciting & lofty but expensive perspective, ride a helicopter for 5,000 yen - about 5 minutes, but woohoo what a view!We were fortunate to be in the area on 25th May 2014 when the park was lit up at night and there was a spectacular fireworks display. it was a rowdy carnival atmosphere with stalls selling drinks and hot snacks and families gathered for the show.

if you have seen Takinuoe Park you will find this park uninspiring from the entrance. I can tell different garden designers had their mark on this park. The best design is at the left of the park where white , purple, pink, maroon mosses are amassed poetically, giving a kaleidoscope of colours. This is where you will see trees planted amidst the flowers.
