There's no where else in the world that is covered in bright pink, other than this park. It is an interesting sight to behold and be sure to try the shibasakura ice cream sold on site. There were many visitors, it was hard to get a photo taken without any distractions in sight. The sun was bearing down unforgivingly on us, we lasted only 20 minutes out in the open before heading to the cafe nearby to hide from the sun's wrath. We came here with a local day trip tour we signed up for online, the coach ride itself was a little over 3 hours from Sapporo, it was bearable but not enjoyable.

The park is covered with pink blooms every season. It is really interesting and pretty. However, it was a strangely hot day when we were there, so we did not stay long out there.

We went there on June 4th 2013 and the hill was still visibly pink from really far away.We enjoyed the pink moss phlox for about an hour, walking up and down the hill, taking photos and enjoying the countryside-quaint Japanese Town view.But other than this hill, Takinoue had little else to offer, and the nearest decent town, Kamikawa, was more than an hour's drive away.Still, it was worth the once in a lifetime visit.

５月２６日に行きましたが少し緑が見えて７部咲きといったところでしょうか。それでも充分綺麗でした。芝桜は一色ではなく濃いピンクや薄いピンクなど色んな色があり、じっくり見ると面白いです。

芝桜で有名な滝上町の滝上公園。芝桜まつり期間中は要注意です。駐車料金は無料ですが、入場料がかかります。それも駐車場に入る時に。係員が車内に顔を入れ確認します。ちょっと嫌な感じがしました。入場料なら別な所で徴収してほしいです。

7年ぶりの訪問です。三分咲きでした。入場料が大人1人500円ですが高すぎると思います。入場料が取られるなら二度と行かないと思います。通りすがりに遠くから見えるのでわざわざ入場する必要はないと思います。

七福神

5月中旬から6月上旬ごろこの公園に行くと本当に見事な芝桜が山肌に広がる。北海道といえば、夏は緑という印象だが、ここのピンクは本当に素晴らしい。簡単に行ける場所ではないが、道東にこの時期行く機会があれば、是非レンタカーで訪れてほしい。

北海道の他の主要都市から若干距離があるため、なかなか訪れる機会はないかもしれないが、近くまで行く機会があればぜひ寄ってみてほしい場所。私は紋別に行っていたので、そこから旭川に向かうルートの中に組み込んだ。車から降りた途端にほのかな甘い香りが鼻孔をくすぐる。やや急な坂を上れば斜面一面がピンク色。素晴らしい景色だった。公園自体、そんなに広くないので1時間もあれば、すべて見渡せる。観光地観光地していないのも良かった。

北のあんあん

本当に期間限定なビュースポットです。しかも、自然相手なので、時期がずる事もしばしば。今年(平成25年)等は、半月後ろにずりましたから…でも綺麗です。とても見応えは有ります。一度は観ておいて損は有りません。

芝桜まつり期間中は、駐車場料金として500円がかかります。噂で聞いていた以上に綺麗な公園でした。芝桜が一面に敷き詰められ、鮮やかなピンク色のなかを、散歩できました。公園内に弁当を持ち込み、花見しながらのんびりランチできました。
