Sometimes nature is not nice. When along the Panama Pacific beaches every 2 or 3 kilometers a river is transporting mud, leaves, branches and whole trees into the ocean, then even nature lovers complain about it. Santa Clara beach is lucky to have the next rivers far away and thus enjoy clean sand and clear water all the time. Place to go.

Veranasa Beach....I used to park for free,now,$3 for the day. Park on the top. Times change. Parents pass on. Now, Bahio's $20.00, the Coolers $5.No longer a lot of dogs around. New washrooms - very clean. And stay in small overnight cabins.$90. The beach is still beautiful - my favorite place. Very little garbage washes in on this beach which is nice. You can walk very long distances on the beach. Beautiful white sand. The water is wonderful. The restaurant still has great, fresh food, great fish! the prices have tripled. Lunch can be $20 +. Still a great day at the beach! Very friendly, some English. The ocean is gorgeous - forever changing. It can have very strong currents and other times, so calm and beautiful. Be careful. Watch the winds. Depends on weather, tides.

This was our first trip to the beach at Santa Clara. It was a Friday so very few people there. Overall a very pleasant experience although a little overpriced. $3 per person for use of the bathroom and shower. $20 for use of a small, palm covered roof with 2 hammocks, 2 chairs, and a table. Nice clean beach. Lots of nice shells. Arrived with the incoming tide, currents very strong, extreme amount of sand in the water got into everything. Current can knock you over if only in up to your knees. Came out of the water with a half pound of sand in my pocket. My wife had to slit the lining of her swimsuit to get the sand out (don't know how it got in, would not wash out). Bottom drops off fairly fast. Overall great experience but stay aware of rapidly changing conditions. We left about high tide and the water had calmed down nicely.Decent restaurant with good to moderate prices. An excellent half chicken, fried, with salad and french fries was $8.50. Natural juices $1.50. No cheap fare like hamburgers or sandwiches.Real cabanas complete with air conditioning and bathroom available for $89.One nice thing, they keep track of all you do, including the restaurant, and give you a final, inclusive, and itemized bill when you are ready to leave. Cash only, no credit cards.Bring a beach umbrella and some towels to sit or lay on and save the $20.

El pacifico es lindo a la vista, es un mar calido, hay muchos desniveles, razon por la cual entrando al mar no se sabe si en el proximo paso el agua nos tapa.

Uma delícia para quem está na Cidade do Panamá e quer passar um dia na praia. Um pouco distante ( cerca de 2 horas), mas vale a pena pela paisagem, relaxamento e curtição. Vale a pena reservar um day use em um dos resorts da região.

Excelente playa solo se paga 3 dolares para entrar y alquilar de ranchoa en 20 pero para alquilar los ranchos hay q llegar temprano.Excelente oleaje muy recomendada

La playa muy bien, pero muy triste que las áreas que están cercanas a la playa y le dan acceso todas están cercadas y hay que pagar para estar.

Me la recomendaron como la mejor playa cerca a Ciudad de Panamá donde están los resorts, es muy bonita de arena blanca, agua transparente y algo de oleaje. Entramos por un sitio llamado las Veranitas con buena atención y comida y se pagan 3 dólares por persona para tener derecho a sentarse en un sitio, a las duchas y el baño. Fue fácil llegar en auto, no sé si en transporte público sea igual. Lo recomiendo

Hermosa playa, a dos horas en auto desde el centro de Ciudad de Panamá.Entrando por el estadero Veranitas, hay que pagar 3 dolares para ducharse, usar el baño y resguardarse del sol. se pueden alquilar kioscos con sillas por 20 dolares. Es una playa limpia, de arena blanca, con oleaje moderado. Es ideal para aprovechar un día de playa y cambiar el paisaje de ciudad. Me parece que es mejor alquilar un auto 25 dolares por día, que tomar transporte público. Recomendado.
