What an experience. You get to see the history of Porsche in near perfect surroundings, headset coverage as you walk through and some of the best cars you will ever see. The gift shop and restaurants are also well worth a visit. My only complaint was that we were bnot allowed to do the Factory tour even though when we rung 5 days earlier we wwere not told we had to book. ENSURE YOU BOOK FOR THE FACTORY TOUR !!!!!!

I have now been here 3 times and it never gets boring, seen a concept car that I seen at the Melbourne motor show when I was 10!!! the same car 36 years later - with allowances for space age add ons like mobile phones and navigation systems, to be reminder of how technology and car styling has unfolded is a history lesson not just a rev heads paradise.

Whether a casual fan of sports cars or a die hard aficionado of all things having four wheels that go terribly fast, a visit to the Porsche Museum should be on your Stuttgart itinerary. The museum itself is beautifully designed. The number of cars, both production and race models, will give the casual viewer pleasure for a hour or more - the enthusiast can spend much more time fascinating over what they've always dreamed of driving down an autobahn or closed circuit track. Having limited time myself while there, I'm hoping for a return in the future. And if all the horsepower gets the testosterone flowing, stop by the restaurant upstairs for a first class, man-sized streak in elegant surroundings.

Was good fun to there. Lots of history for the company and the cars. Great day out with family and also with friends. Go See!

A nice museum in an architecturally interesting building. Probably best for Porsche enthusiasts as its a small and relatively young car company in comparison to Mercedes, so the range of vehicles on view is limited and there are many racing models on display. Worth a visit (pilgrimage) if you are into Porsches.

Very cool to see where my fav car comes from! Smaller than I expected, but there were many types I didn't recognize zipping 'round the place. Well worth the trip!

Located in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen next to Porsche Headquarters. See history of the Porsche brand right up to their modern models in a very interesting designed museum. It's not that large. If you speak German, take the tour. Otherwise take an audio guide.

During a trip to visit my boyfriend who studies in Stuttgart and currently has an internship with Porsche, we decided it would be good to check out the Porsche museum. We both paid 4 euros each and that was using our student ID cards, so I recommend bringing those! I'm from California and they took my university ID card so that was a major plus. In addition, audio guides are free and the one in English was very well done! Going into this museum visit I didn't really have much background info on the car or its origins. However once we began I could tell I was in for a great surprise and history lesson. I had no idea that Ferdinand Porsche was responsible for the first hybrid motor, built in the 1890s! All of the exhibits were interactive, sleek and most had a video with awesome graphics to go along with what was on display. In the end of the exhibit you can actually sit in one of the newest Porsche they have, so cool! Also they have an awesome driving simulator for what it's like to drive a Porsche on a racing track, great for kids and for adults who still act like kids! I totally recommend visiting this museum with family or friends while staying in Stuttgart.
