This is a great little gem in Bedford, MA, and a great place to take young children for a fun outing to the petting zoo. It's quite small but there are all the farm animals and it is kept clean and the animals seem quite happy! It's also free! The country store is really cute and we picked up eggs laid fresh just yesterday! Very good prices for eggs too considering they are free- range as well.

Family owned and run, this is a not to miss precious little Country Store, Grocery and Petting Zoo. Eat their eggs and you will never settle for big grocery eggs again. The difference blew my mind. I thought an egg was an egg. Its not! Chicken, Hamburg, Steaks - all natural with no chemicals or nasty stuff and processed by hand - not monster machine farms. Luscious veggies, local crafters and lets not forget the penny candy section! As an adult, even I walk thru the petting zoo each time I come. Kiddie parties look like the stuff dreams are made of. Staff is lovely. Can't say enough about them. Its a family business and it feels like one. The old fashioned kind where everyone works hard and is friendly. In 20 years I have never ever had a bad experience. Oh - and don't forget to bring back your egg carton.

This famly run business is awesome, we've been going there since it was a 'on your honor' place to buy only eggs. The brothers and their families could not be more pleasant and welcoming. They have built the business to something amazing, love the animals :) Best eggs around by far, fresh and the jumbo are HUGE.
