I played and visited The Badlander some weeks back and was fortunate enough to get to know some truly wonderful artists. Mike Avery coordinates this music platform so the many musicians who do not have a place to showcase their talent or their work, now have a place to go because of Mike's commitment to music in Missoula. Mike was also in charge with Sean Kelley's music venues until they stopped offering their digs to the cause.I cannot stress enough the amount of fun, new sounds, and interesting people that visit The Badlander. The open mic is on Tuesday nights and begins around nine p.m. and ends when it ends, but you will not be disappointed. This is a place for music lovers to come, enjoy, and share their talents with everyone. Beer and food is offered at great prices, but the people are the true gift. From the bartenders, to the waitresses and waiters, to the musicians, and of course, to Michael Avery, the best f times in Missoula are waiting for you at The Badlander.
