We stayed four nights at the Bighorn Trout Shop. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We had satellite TV and free WiFi. We ate at the Trout Shop one night and had a good meal. The best part of our visit was the friendliness os the staff. We hired a guide and floated the top thirteen miles of the Bighorn. The fishing is just part of the experience on the river. Throw in the scenery and the wildlife and you have a great day. Our guide Steve was a good teacher and an enjoyable companion for the day. Treat yourself to a stay at the Bighorn Trout Shop.

Have been here two times in 2010 and 2011 , both in July. Excellent rooms that are comfortable and easy access to trout fishing. Food was home made and very good. Fishing guides are the best you will find in the area. Caught several fish each day. They know the river like the back of their hand. You won't be disappointed with the lodge or the guides.

We can't say enough about the Bighorn Trout Shop. The care and attention to detail of this fishing outpost are beyond expectations. The rooms are comfortably furnished and quite large. The food here is exceptional, don't make the same mistake we made in bringing our own. I was just told by the manager the average guide has been with them for 15 or more years, they really know their stuff regarding the Bighorn River.They've killed our desire to stay in other fishing locations closer to home and we live in Colorado, they're worth the few extra hours of drive time.

Stayed at the bighorn trout shop after staying a night at the shop next door. The rooms were clean and the shop staff was very helpful. I will plan my entire trip with the trout shop this coming season. The river fished very well also.

Checked in on a Friday night with no problems, and were given a high vaulted ceiling room with two double beds, a bathroom and a mini fridge. We spent Saturday fishing the river with our guide, Ike, and while it wasnt overly productive in terms of fish, we had a great day. Dinner that night was at the lodge, and it was truly a very good meal (it's a one-meal option). Beds were comfortable, water is well water, so be prepared (peeuw). No cell phone coverage in town, but the Lodge offers free wifi. Overall, a nice stay. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

Just recently I went on my first guided fly fishing trip on the Bighorn River. The Bighorn Trout Shop was recommended to me by a friend. My trip was awesome, fishing was excellent, service was well above average, and their food was great. Their shop was very impressive. They had everything there, from all different brands of rods, reels, clothing(summer gear and winter gear), all the little gadgets and equipment for fly fishing, fly tying materials, polarized sunglasses at all different price ranges, and very knowledgable employees. I couldnt have had a better trip. They are #1 in my book. I will definitely be back there many more times. Thank you Bighorn Trout Shop!!-J.P.
