The Paramount is a surprisingly large venue, with great sound quality and a very high ceiling, which makes the room feel very spacious. I've been there twice: once for comedian Steven Wright and once for a concert featuring Pat Benatar and her husband Neil Giraldo. We sat on the floor, which made the performance seem more intimate, but the downside was that the chairs are placed too close together, so not only is there not enough leg room in front, but you are pressed up against your neighbors on either side. They do have a spacious area for standing room only tickets which is nice if you want to move around, go back and forth to the bar, etc. There are also balcony seats, which offer great views of the stage (some sections are VIP only). There is a long bar inside the main room. The drinks are city prices - too pricey for Long Island ($15 for mixed drinks), but having said that, they make the best Long Island Ice Tea I've had (and I've tried many). Ticket prices vary depending on the act. They do have recognizable names that play there, like Slayer, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Lyle Lovett, Jeff Beck and even Michael Bolton; no major headliners, but some solid performers. Local bands and comedy shows also perform here. Huntington is one of the more bustling towns on Long Island filled with restaurants, shops and forms of entertainment, so this music venue is a perfect fit for this town and great for a night out.

Concert was good. Likes the venue. Sound was pretty good for the most part. Drinks were a little expensive but that is expected for a venue near the city.

Went last night, stand-up comedy 2/14/2015. I order 2 draft beers and the bartender says "$24". Really? I will never go back to a place that milks their customers like suckers.Otherwise, I enjoyed the steel and brick interior. The folding seats are uncomfortable but can be moved to suit your space need.If you disregard and go anyway, better allow a minimum of 30 minutes to search for parking..

Let me say this. They have excellent acts and very convenient in the Town of Huntington. I have Been there a few times. Just recently had standing room tickets as all sit down seats were sold out. Standing is not great especially at 67.50 ticket. As it is hard to concentrate on the music wih all the drunk people talking and moving around. If it was a full sit down concert venue. It would be a great place to see a showOh yes. Beers are 12.00. Even more than Yankee stadium

Saw Dennis Miller at the Paramount theater, my first visit there. It is a really cool place. Not set up as a traditional theater. There are several bars for drinks, and in the Louge where I had tickets, there was a shelf in front of our seats to use for drinks and or food. A snack sized bag of pretzels was provided, and there were wait staff to take orders for food & drink. A menus was provided (bar type of food- which was very good ) & the service was excellent (Annie was the waitress & was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the foods on the menu when there were questions). The only drawback that I found was that the seating wasn't all that comfortable. The Paramount was a fun night out, and I will definitely go again, but, will bring a cushion to sit on or use for the back. The Paramount is one place that has many frontline celebrities & bands who are there for one night. It is definitely a place to check out.

This place is the best place to see a concert if you can find a show to come and see. The venue is quite small and intimate and most artists actually enjoy playing here because of that. They often have A list artists come and perform shows, but tickets do often sell out quickly so you have to be on your toes to get a ticket for certain events. My personal favorite place to sit is in the Loge section for views of the stage that are unprecedented. GA is fun if you go with a bunch of people- depending on the crowd you can possibly get squished down there in the pit. Mezzanine is okay but its a bit too far back, i'm not quite a fan of sitting there. Overall great concert venue with a really cool bathroom! You have to check it out in person to see what I mean :) .

Great venue for concerts. Have sat in the back of the balcony and the sound was good. Several bars in the building. Huntington has great restaurants. Parking can be a pain.

We have seen several headliners at the Paramount and have worked back stage with Mrs Joan Rivers during her live performance, but our favorite visits to the Paramount have been for Private events. We produced and photographed an editorial cover and section for 2 local magazines using the Paramount as the location and the experience was Wonderful!

Small venue for a concert floor seating was tight and somewhat uncomfortable- the balcony and side balcony seats looked nice. Sound was very good. $12.00 for a draft beer and $5.00 for a 16 oz bottle of water. RIPOFF

If you are local or a regular concert goer I would suggest becoming a VIPmember. I attend shows and events at least one every other month. It is a wonderful venue with a wonderful staff. The VIP manager Moraz is a delight. She goes above and beyond in terms of serviceAlso if you're in a VIP section o hope you get a chance to meet server Lauren. Like Moraz; Lauren is a gem. Thanks paramount
