9 actors did all the parts. They did excellent job of playing as many as 5 characters each. A small venue but excellent presentation. The theater was built post Civil War as a church for freed slaves.

My husband and I love this theatre. It is a small place so every seat is wonderful. Every show/musical we have seen there has been top notch -- the actors for each and every show have been fabulous. A great way to see live theatre at reasonable prices without having to go to Nashville every time.

very small venue but they always do a great job of anything they undertake..the actors are generally locals but you'd never know it..very professional

This really is the best little community theatre around. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The shows are generally very, very good, too. You'll find their prices more reasonable than most of the other nearby theatres. This is a black box theatre, so you will be quite close to the action, no matter where you sit. I would avoid the front row, if you don't want to be right in the middle of the action. Get there when the doors open for the best choice of seats.

Admittedly I had never seen the stage version of "Bye, Bye Birdie" until last night at the season opener of the cozy and intimate Pull-Tight Theater in Franklin, TN. How director Blandina Vegara-Cruz was able to choreograph 29 talented cast members in such a small space can only be described as "genius." The ensemble cast enjoy themselves on stage to great benefit of the audience who roundly join the fun especially in the "Ed Sullivan Show", Shriner meeting and all of the teen song and dance numbers with Conrad Birdie. The lead actors are excellent and shine when the spotlight is on as well as the minor players, each fully inhabiting their quirky characters. Don't miss the chance to see this wonderful production and experience the amazing talents of our Franklin community.

Pull-Tight Theatre has been the community theatre of Franklin since 1968.  In the middle of downtown Franklin in a historic former church, it's an intimate venue of just under 100 seats where any play or musical comedy comes to life right in front of you.In the 2012-2013 season, Pull-Tight will present the musicals, "Bye, Bye, Birdie" and "Little Shop of Horrors," and the plays, "The Cemetery Club," "It's A Wonderful Life," "Dial M for Murder," and "Beau Jest."While Pull-Tight's actors and production crew are devoted volunteers, don't be surprised to see individual and group performances of a caliber that matches any professional theater-- and lots of HEART.Make sure to check the web site or phone info line toward the end of a run, as shows are often held over.  And if a show's sold out, you may still find tickets at the door. There's a wheelchair ramp, but it's always best to call ahead and check on seating.Pull-Tight is just 1 block from the town square, and it's easy to find a good meal before or after a show, and an easy date or family night.  Just beyond  Pull-Tight is Dotson's, a local landmark on Main Street where waitresses will call you "Honey;" back toward the square and into downtown are pizza at the Mellow Mushroom; and a more expensive, but always excellent meal, at The Red Pony.  There's a Baskin-Robbins right across Main Street.
