We have been through here all 4 seasons and we have never been disappointed! Beautiful leisurely drive with so much to see!

We always tour the Cherohala Skyway when we are in this area. The mountain scenery is spectacular any time of year, but especially in the fall!

Interesting & informative. We enjoyed the exhibits and the movie is quite good. Elementary-aged children would like the outdoor buildings and equipment.

I loved driving through the Cherokee National Forest. Nature at it's best! We rode our bikes and it was a very pleasant drive. There are plenty of places to stop and take pictures - which we did!

Traffic in Gatlinburg was very heavy so we spent most of our time in Pigeon Forge. We drove to Cherokee and stopped and hiked to Clingmans Dome. What a Sight. We ate at the Old Mill and the Apple barn and enjoyed the food and buildings.

Great area to drive and or hike through. Rhododendrons and Mountain Laurel in the Spring and spectacular Fall color. It is a good place to cool off in the Summer. Coming from Florida I really appreciate the mountains.

Cherokee Forest offers many trails for hiking and riding bikes. Rivers abound including the Ocoee River where novices can enjoy commercial rafting trips with one of many companies. The Whitewater Center is sure to entertain Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day through Labor day as rafts challenge the Olympic course and occasionally fail the test. Great fun watching raft guides rescue the victims.

We rode our Harley's down into Cherokee and loved it!! Stopped in the Medicine Man crafts and bought local Cherokee 100% Authentic gifts. The only place I shop while I'm there.

I recently had the opportunity to venture into the National forest. The views are tremendous and will be a regular part of my visits to Gatlinburg.

We drove through the park in the late afternoon on our way to Sevierville. Nice cut through there to Sevierville using Wear Valley Road. Lots of scenery with the mountains and the river. It appeared that Townsend had added more stores and hotel accommadations.
