      算是比较轻松的trail 两旁山体很好好大,走在中间感觉挺爽好像全长一千米多吧,基本平路,但还是要注意带水,热啊不过最壮观的角度还是在南面的入口处

It's only a mile each way but easy'ish walking. We did the round trip and being in amongst the rocks you see such different views than anything you'd see from the car park.

What a valley. You park at the head of a valley of rock formations on either side of you. A gradual paved trail leads to an overlook, and from there can walk the length of the entire valley if you choose. Most walk one way and there is a parking lot at the other end of the trail where you can be picked up by someone that helped by moving your car. Spectacular any time of the day!

I love the drive down there. I also took a little side trip and met up with my partner who came to pick me up. It is my favorite in Arches

While this easy mile hike has absolutely stunning views of the formations from below, don't forget to check out the stone you're walking on. There are amazing things to see literally in all directions here. This is a truly magical area, although you're unlikely to see it alone even during off season.

We started at the Park Avenue Viewpoint and hiked to the Courthouse Tower parking lot and back. If you have 2 vehicles you can do a one-way but it is not a long hike (2 miles round trip). There are not any arches here but the views are still beautiful of the sandstone walls. And the view changes as the light changes during the day. If you are only going one way you might want to know that the trail runs downhill from the Park Avenue Viewpoint to the Courthouse Tower parking lot. You can get some wonderful pictures from the Park Avenue Viewpoint if you don't have time for the hike.

This is an easy, short hike. It can be done as an out-and-back starting at either the Park Avenue Viewpoint (south end) or the Courthouse Tower view point (north end). If you have two vehicles, you could do a one-way, point-to-point hike as well, but honestly, it is only two miles so why make it so complicated. Besides, I always like getting the return perspective by retracing my steps to the starting point. The trail generally runs downhill from south to north (the high point is at the Park Avenue view point, with the steepest part being the section from the viewing platform down the steps to the slickrock base). We’ve walked this trail in part or in its entirety a few times over the years. During our 2014 visit, our plan was to just take in the vista from the Park Avenue view point, but due to the throngs of folks at the view point we decided to take a walk and get away from the masses. We did not walk the entire length of the trail this time, opting to stop just past where the east wall of Park Avenue ends. This gave us nice views of the four formations at the north end of the trail: the Gossips, Sheep Rock, Tower of Babel and The Organ. There were also a few puddles in the slickrock in this area to add some photographic interest with reflections of the sandstone monoliths. But all along the trial are nice views of the sandstone walls, fins and spires from which Park Avenue derives its name. The area does have some resemblance to a city street lined with large buildings. But I still see a connection to ancient Egypt, particularly when taking in the vista from the south. Sure, there is Nefertiti’s head posed high on the west wall, but also the spire at the far end puts me in mind of a stylized cat. Hey, I call them like I see them. Regardless, it is a lovely view and worth the stop, even if you don’t make the hike.We were there right around noon, so the light was harsh on this blue-sky day. Mid to late morning is said to be the best for photos, and I think that is about right. But the views were still great even if the pictures were a little washed-out. At this time of day, the trail is completely drenched in sun, so even though it is a short hike, be prepared for the conditions (hat, sunscreen, water, etc.).

Perhaps the best thing about Park Avenue at Arches is that it is the first major stop in and the last out of the park. Thus, you have ample opportunities to view this magnificent scene with all kinds of lighting and shadows. The trail is relatively easy, winding down from the parking area to the Courthouse Viewpoint. But whether you walk the trail or just photograph it at various times of the day from its viewpoint, you will not be disappointed. It is "perfect" any time of day.

We hiked the Park Avenue trail later in the afternoon. It's a gorgeous area, and the hike is not very difficult. That being said, because it was late in the afternoon, there were significant shadows cast over the valley making photography difficult in many places.Park Avenue is a great way to start an adventure at Arches National Park. But there also aren't any arches here. There is a lookout near the parking lot that provides pretty much the best view. If you don't have time, you can stop and quickly take a few pictures before driving on.

The hike showcased all the different colors, textures and shapes of Arches. Being able to see the path of the water thousands and thousands of years ago to different formations, shadows and the way this place was formed was both amazing and breathtaking.
