I had always wanted to see inside the Orpheum and bought tickets for a concert. I wasn't disappointed in what I saw. This was a beautiful venue for the concert we enjoyed. But the main floor was so hot that it was uncomfortable.

Great venue and there is not a bad seat in the house. Sound was excellent and it is within walking distance of many parking ramps. We would return!

I attend 4-8 events per year at the Orpheum. I also attended many movies as a kid there back when it was a movie theater and was in rough shape. The remodel was very well done. It's a very nice venue for any on-stage performances and the atmosphere it very good.

Very convenient location to our hotel, 4-1/2 blocks away. Easy to walk to and from. Nice seats, all appeared to have great views. Did have to walk up/down steps to get to bathrooms and seating.

This theater is one of those rare gems that was luckily safer from the wrecking ball and lovingly restored. We attended a remembrance ceremony there and were surprised by the beauty of the interior of the theater. This would be a great venue for all sorts of events.

This is a beautiful place- great acts are brought into perform. Weddings and receptions are held here. The building was redone to its original look.

I am so happy that Sioux City restored this beautiful gem! The acoustics in the theatre are fabulous as well. Any event there always seems a bit more special due to the lovely surroundings.

Having been to countless concerts and theatre events at the Orpheum in Sioux City, I think it is time to write a review. From Sheryl Crow to Tony Bennett, Tonic-Sol-Fa to Mannheim Steamroller, the Orpheum is the perfect venue for just about any kind of concert event from rock and roll Jackson Browne style to a mellow concert of Christmas favorites. The Orpheum does not have a bad seat, although the front row is always preferred the Mezzanine is lovely as well. Weddings and receptions are also the event of the year at the Orpheum, and perfectly lovely any time of year - especially over the holidays. The theatre shows are perfect and the way that the theatre was designed so many years ago - the acoustics cannot be replicated today in a way that is superior! There are also adequate spaces for parking in the adjacent Martin Luther King ramp, so parking is never, ever an issue. Make sure to have time for a cocktail at Momo's before your event, as this sweet little bar makes for a terrific evening!

The food was scanty.. a small pork sandwich and a cheese plate that was difficult to get to.. so many people to get thru. The renos are beautiful.. the washrooms downstairs just gorgeous.. Well done!!!!
