Second year in a row that my wife and daughters have taken me on a trip down the river with Rapidan River Kayak Company for Father's Day. The weather has been great both years and we have seen bald eagles both times. Beth is extremely knowledgeable about the river and gives great instruction to newbies. This is a great experience for both locals and visitors. Everyone needs to get out and enjoy the river.

My wife and I had the occasion to do a kayak trip on the Rapidan with Beth, the owner. It was a terrific experience on a beautiful stretch of the river. We've done some basic kayaking before, but Beth's brief tutorial and safety lesson before the trip was very useful and much appreciated. We didn't get to meet Gary, the other half of the RRKC, but Beth was wonderful, experienced and very responsive to our particular skill level. On the trip Beth did a very nice job of pointing out features of the natural setting as well as the unique qualities of the Rapidan and its history. Thanks Beth.Bob & Marianne

Beth took two of us on a river trip and did a terrific job of telling us about the river and some of the history that happened along it, helping us read the river and paddle more effectively, and pointing out wildlife that we would have missed otherwise. A great trip!

When planning a wedding in Orange Virginia at Woodberry Forest we wanted the guests to have the option of exploring the beauty of the Rapidan River. We selected the Rapidan River Kayaking Company to help us plan an adventure that would be agreeable for all the guests. Beth and Gary did a great job of taking 16 of us down the river for a beautiful Saturday in June. The Groomsmen the Father of the Bride and many family members from 6 to 60 enjoyed the paddle. We saw the Eagle and baby and had a stop along the way to swim. It was just fabulous. I highly recommend this for any family event. The instructions Beth gave helped those of us who were not as comfortable in a kayak and helped other perfect their skills. We plan to do many more trips with Beth and Garry.
