The Crossroads Museum is located in the old Railroad Depot at the intersection to two railroads, the Norfolk Southern and Kansas City Southern. Part of the depot is still used by the KCS. This Depot is very well maintained. The caboose outside looks almost like it be put on train today. Inside the museum boost a small collection of railroad memories and other town related items. Make no mistake it is a community museum first, telling the story of the community, with only part of it the railroad, but after visiting with the director, I think that might change soon. She has some big plans to start to focus on railfans since some of the busiest rail lines are just steps away.

This is a museum of railroad and local history. All kinds of train memorabilia, Coca Cola product displays (there was a bottling plant in the area), and pictures and memorabilia of local favorite sons, one being Don Blassingame, the Cardinal baseball player. In back of the museum is a famous rail intersection. Corinth was the sight of where two rail lines, Memphis and Charleston, and Mobile and Ohio intersected. It was a strategic CW prize fought over by The North and South.

Great museum & town history of the rails & the town's famous citizens. Something neat to check out if you are ever in the area. Very friendly staff & prices aren't bad at all. The best part is going behind the building to see where the "X" marks the spot by the joining of the railroads.

If you are into railroad history, this is a place to go visit. It's just not about the Civil War era, but also the town history. Informative.

Unique displays with lots of interesting info relating to the local culture and history. There's even a full room dedicated to one of the local patrons. I'm not a museum buff but I really enjoyed this one.

Finally got around to visiting the Crossroads museum. The lady at the desk was warm in greeting when entering and asking me to wait a few moments to open the museum. It's not a large museum,but fitting for a small city. It starts at pre historic times to present. The main highlight of course is the railroad and how it shape Corinth.It was a nice way to past time.The outside had two picnic tables which was nice to enjoy my snack and the great weather.I would love to see more on both women and African Americans highlighted.The gift shop has a nice selection of regional items with reasonable pricing.

This museum is a small one that covers rail history in Corinth, some history of the town, and a small Coke museum in the back. There is also some memorabilia on famous people from Corinth. The lady at the front was very helpful about other sites to see in the surrounding area. There is a nominal fee. To be honest this is not a "must do" if you are civil war touring but I like to support these small museums.

We had to go to the Crossroads as part of our Shiloh immersion visit and glad we did! This little Museum, which also appears to house the Coke Museum was a good addition to the other two planned visits of the day: Shiloh and the Interpretative Center. The Crossroads Museum gave us context to the town and people of Corinth before, during and after the war, as well as additional strategic and tactical aspects of the town's location. It is a diverse collection of local history, most of which has national significance. Of considerable impact for us- with family who fought on both sides of the war -- was the appreciation that our own ancestors passed here headed toward Shiloh. Those who fought for the Confederacy and survived, also passed through here on retreat -- changed men. The crossroads are literally outside the building housing the Museum.

Has some very interesting dioramas from the civil war era as well as some artifacts but it is not cetered around the significance of the location from a war perspective. You can see the crossroad from the museum if like me your interest is the civil war connection but as it is still an active railway you can't go out to the location. There is an amazing wood carving that upon reading the background it is unbelievable how it was created. Well worth it if you are in town but not sure I'd drive out of my way for it.

Wonderful little museum that encapsulates the cahrm and history of Corinth. A must-see.
