36 holes, beautiful course, and low price. Great for course for walking but carts are available. Hills, sand, and water. Just don't hit the geese!

It wasn't in the greatest shape yet but the season is early. We played 27 holes and some areas should have been roped off due to standing water. We started on the Maize and they had issues on the greens with worms popping out the fillings from the aerated holes. Had never heard of that but that is what one of the grounds keepers told us. He was in the process of rolling the greens and this was at 11:30. Many areas needed mowing and maybe it was due to the water. I was pleasantly surprised to find the women's tee had been moved on hole 4. You wouldn't know where some women's tees were located were it not for the markers - they were not mowed to indicate it. We also played the Green and the Blue. The Green course was in the best shape of the 3 we played but feel the Maize and Blue are the prettiest. Porta johns and trap rakes weren't out yet.

In Jackson, there is no shortage of golf courses! Hickory Hills is average but inexpensive.

Love to play this course at twilight. Walking is only $6.00, it has 36 holes so you don't usually have to wait. Its not the greatest course, but great if you want to just get a quick 9 in on a weeknight.

We love this course, especially the 2 back nines where you have a very good chance of seeing wildlife. The course is well maintained but that can't be said for the clubhouse. Coupons are always available online (2 for 1).

Hickory Hills has four 9 hole courses. The white, green, blue and maze. The sand traps are made of dirt and have no sand in them. The greens are fairly good and fairways decent. The yardage markers are very poor and you have to guess on most shots. However, for the money its hard to beat. Bring cash, they don't take credit cards.
