I went into Turnbaughs with a friend on the way to a Penn State football game. Maybe the bartender was having a bad night, and maybe it was the last night before a long Saturday of cleaning, and maybe someone had called in sick, and maybe a few of the patrons were just tired after a long day of work...Maybe.But more than likely I would say that we were welcomed by nothing but the dense fog of powerful cigarette smoke when we walked in the door. We were further berated by the bartender, insulted, and served warm beer and lousy food (and we had to basically beg to get served at that). If it had not been for the long drive and they thought that my stomach was going to kill me from hunger, I would not have stayed long enough to hear the vulgar comments of the patrons and get the foodIn short, unless you are the typical White Trash of Perry County that resides within a 2 mile radius of this backdoor dumb, it should be avoided at all costs. Hopefully by the time this post hits yelp, the free market has already done its job of disposing of this awful place.
