My wife and I stopped in after Longwood Gardens to purchase a few bottles. We had our 18 month old with us and there were no other people there when we went. The staff member was helpful and the building and decor were of a beautiful rustic nature. We were able to taste about 4 or 5 wines and we purchased three different types. We would gladly return when the place is busy in the evening.

GO here just to appreciate the artful way they made this barn intoa winery......love the massive entrance gates, amazing stainedglass window from a church far far away.....really well donedecorating. Loved the white wines, reds may need a few more yearsas they all do but GO see this beautiful property and whilethere don't miss longwood gardens around the corner, largestbotanical garden in USA

A boutique winery yards from Longwood Gardens. Wonderful staff, location and atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. A must 2+ hour place to visit. I live in the area and recommend to all my visiting friends. Low key, kid friendly. Reluctantly I share my review here-I'd much prefer to keep it as an insider's hideaway.

What an extraordinary way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Superb service from Kate and Mackenzie! Friendly, non condescending, knowledgable people make this a top spot for enjoying fall weather. Beautiful grounds, very charming tasting room, solid music, and the wine was divine. Give the Cab Blanc a go! Highly recommend.

Great experience. The wines, particularly the whites, we're delicious. We also got the little bread and cheese packages, both we're locally made and amazing! And the woman who helped us was just SO pleasant and gave us great tips on where to go in the historic Kennett Square downtown area, all three of which we visited and loved!!

Wine tasting in a beautiful room tastefully decorated by the artist co-owner. Mackenzie, one of the servers, is friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely view of the vineyard from the patio. Some of the wines are surprisingly delicious; my favorite is a Cabarnet Franc dessert wine. Four one-ounce tastings is $10 plus tax. Check their website for the live music schedule; it might be Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 4-6 or 5-7.

This place has that "Cheers" kind of feel to it with people who are obvious regulars and those who are new. When it is crowded it takes on a different feel, but it always has one of those friendly charms to it. The rustic barn addition is tastefully appointed and the deck is a lovely place to sit with a friend and enjoy the countryside. Unencumbered by the chachkis found in some wineries, Galer's is all about the wine. Their pourers are knowledgeable and friendly and the wines consistently good. Check out their site or get on the mailing list for the Thursday art events and others during the weekends.

Patty,We are sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience in our tasting room. Hidden away in Chester County we are zoned residentially and cannot always accommodate a high volume of guests which is unfortunate as we enjoy making each guest's experience as unique as possible. As a boutique winery we do not operate as a commercial facility, thus the winery only having tastings and bottles for sale which is our main purpose as a tasting room. We hope to see you again and anticipate your next experience being a pleasant one.Cheers!

Stopped in for a tasting and stayed for wine and cheese on the deck. There was live music and the view was beautiful. If we were to go again, we would pack our own picnic. A great place to meet friends and sip wine.
