Loved the friendly service at the bar. We never had to wait long for a drink. Their entertainment on Saturday nights is great!

Great selection of drink specials. Nice view of the harbor and water. Fish fry was great and loved the hush puppies. Had some nice wines on the wine list. Next day I had a turkey sandwich that was juicy and delicious. Wish they would deliver to the rooms.

On a cold and snowy night this place worked out to be a good choice for our group staying at the Abbey. We started out with Bloody Mary's. They came with a huge stick of cheese, sausage, olives and peppers along with a beer chaser. Yum! The all you can eat fish fry was the choice of everyone in our group. You could choose between walleye and cod and it came with potato pancake or fries. We all left full and satisfied and felt lie it was a fair deal for a lot of food.

The Abbey has an ideal marina set up but unfortunately management and the affiliated marina manager, Gordy's was extemely rude on a trip last weekend and both refused to honor a confirmed reservation for a slip during a busy weekend. The slip I had reserved was near the hotel, an easy walk and convenient for meeting friends at the boat, etc. When we arrived an extremely rude Gordy's employee blocked us from launching the boat and said there were no slips available despite my confirmed reservation. After 30+ minutes of trying to reason with him and appealing to the hotel (where the reservations were made) I was told that I could tie my boat to a concrete and steel wall space between two docks (not a legal place to tie up, much less a slip), which was a mile from the reserved slip and required a special pass and a drive to get to...Not convenient for meeting friends, etc. After all the difficulty and rudeness and the fact that this very inconvenient situation changed all of our weekend plans, we were offered a "free breakfast", with no apology from either the hotel or Gordy's. Hotel management tried to absolve themselves of the situation despite the fact that they took the reservation, they confirmed it and we were hotel guests for the weekend. Gordy's was only rude and clearly put one of their 'friends' in the slip that I had reserved, after lying about it being part of a boat show, which it was not.

Flew in for a family reunion. Yes, i get that it's a resort town, but I have stayed many places for cheaper in major cities in the heart of the city. The stay was ok, the brunch was good but mucho expensive.

I was really disappointed in almost everything except the massage. We got there and went straight to the pool to eat lunch. Only there was only pre made food, and everything had bacon on it. We went to dinner there and waited an hour and a half to get the food. They did take 40% of the bill it was the least they could do. The food was only okay. The crab cakes were undercooked and gross. I won't be going back.
