Simmons winerary is also a brewery that has Route 450 beer. They also have a brick oven for pizza that has fantastic crust. I like ale and porter but all of there beer is very good and nothing goes better with beer than fresh pizza. well worth checking out.

My husband and I decided to visit a few wineries here in Indiana on a lets get away for a couple days whim in early October. Simmons Winery had good reviews on the Indiana Wines app. The brick oven pizza sounded wonderful. They are also a brewery so a late lunch sounded great.This winery is out in the middle of nowhere near the Edinburg Outlet Mall. When we 1st arrived there was a large group seated outside on the patio area so we decided to eat/drink inside. There were only a couple others inside. We were not greeted or seated so we ventured into the bar area and chose a seat. We were there for a good 5 minutes and still had not been approached. I finally went up to a woman at the wine tasting area and she said she would be right back. Once again I'm left standing there waiting. I waited patiently for another 5 minutes only to decide to return to my seat and find this woman behind the bar area chatting with another customer and eating. Needless to say we were quite done with the lack of service and the rudeness of the people of this establishment. NEVER again will we take the time to visit.

This was our first stop on the beginning of a 3 day wine tour and it was in the middle of the week....Still we felt we were a bother to them to be in there tasting the wine. At first we were the only ones in there ,but it didnt seem they were much friendlier to anyone else. The wines were all very sweet and not much depth. I dont really feel the need to return.

This is a gem-out in the country-a great stop if your out "windshield farming"!! Wine and beer are their drink specialities - and you won't be disappointed. Winery has been running for many years and has earned lots of awards for their wines. Brewery a new addition to the winery is also fantastic. Many choices of beers and several rotating taps. The pizza is dynamite-I recommend the spicy buffalo chicken add jalapeños! Delicious! (And hot!). Their other pizzas are just as good so go often and try them all! Garlic knots very tasty as are the mushrooms! They have daily specials and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and Cool!!In the summertime there's outdoor seating and the gardens on the grounds are beautiful. Enjoy wine and cheese or pizza and beer . . . What a great deal! Open on Sunday's and you can get beer to go in a growler! I recommend you take the drive and enjoy a great meal (drinks) in a great place!Carpe diem!

Yes, it's in the middle of Indiana farm fields. And yes, there's a craft brewery on the other side of the tasting room. But excellent wine is here, with the medals to back it up. Try six tastings for only $2, then enjoy it by the glass or the bottle. My favorite was the cabernet, smooth, great bouquet, and good legs. Winery tours are also available, for a small fee.

Who knew this little gem sits in the middle of a corn field? HahaWonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and great pizza! I'm sure they have other food but pizza is what was recommended so that is what we had. I think they make their own beer/wine?This place was PACKED FULL of people on a Friday night with a lot of snow on the ground if that tells you anything about the food/drink/hospitality! It is wonderful :) I'm sure dining outside would be fabulous with the beautiful landscaping .. Which reminds me, maybe go next weekend ~ weather permitting :)

I went tonight with a group and had the port wine and the spicy buffalo chicken wrap. Port wine was the best I've had. Wrap was good too. Will go back and try the pizza next time, which looked amazing!!

Friendly & knowledgeable staff. My favorite wine was the port. We also found chairs there that are perfect for attending outdoor events; they have a table, storage pockets, comfy, shoulder strap for carrying & actually lighter than most bag chairs.
