Its an awesome awesome spot for a good bike ride, jog, or run and the trail is nicely paved right alongside the river. Stay for sunset!

Took a long bike ride along the river. Fantastick trails, for dog walking, bike riding, enjoy in nature.

An afternoon on the river is a really fab way to spend either a lazy afternoon or one fishing. The best time is during the week because it's less crowded. Early evening floats are sublime.

Full of rednecks and people who do not know how to drive a boat.You risk your life if your boat is smaller than theirs.

Bike, hike, or run, you cab't go wrong with the trail system in Bismarck. It is top shelf, nice beach areas, old steam ships, and just beautiful big old trees and bridges. The old Railroad bridge is awesome to watch the trains roll through sitting on the bank of the river with someone special at sunset!

Lovely, quiet Missouri River wildlife area where we actually encountered wildlife one evening near sunset.

There are lookout points on the river that let you see some beautiful scenery. We wish we could have done the riverboat dining cruise. The boat was really authentic looking.

Take a drive down the River Road and check out all the parks along the way. Keelboat Park and Steamboat Park both contain replicas of boats that Lewis & Clark sailed on.. very interesting! There is a sandy beach in this area too. South of highway 94 in Sertoma Park there are lots of trails and you can venture out onto a small sand island for some great photos!

We enjoyed taking a boat cruise on the Missouri River. Its a larger size river - and reminded us of the history surrounding Lewis and Clark River Expedition days.

There are some great views of the river near the city. Get out there. & go driving around to see the sights. The Mandan summer homes on the ridge offer some great views of the area and some pretty homes nearby.
