The grounds and tasting room are very nice! The wines are also very good, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Met some folks here, who were also having a good time. Conseta poured our tastings and made for a very good wine tasting experience.

We had a glass of the 2012 Chardonay with lunch at the Town House restaurant the day after Thanksgiving in 2013 and tried to find the wine at shops in the Reno area and discovered that it was only available from the winery. On the way home from a family visit a year later we stopped by the winery to see if our memory was valid, and buy a case if the wine was as good as remembered. When we pulled into the parking lot it was empty, and we were momentarily concerned. The grounds are lovely though and the tasting room friendly and inviting and the crowd soon followed us. We ended up tasting all of the offereings and found that the Chardonay was as remembered, oaky, but not overly so, but we also enjoyed the Albarino and an old vine Zinfandel. We joined the wine club, and tasted the Primitivo Zinfandel (a wine club exclusive) which became a new favorite. The modest $5.00 tasting fee is waived with a purchase of wine.A great place to picnic on beautifully landscaped grounds and make your own wine memories.

We visited during the Thanksgiving week and found the winery tasting room to be a cozy, friendly place to appreciate what the Lodi vineyard area is about. We were greeted by the owner, who is a Fifth generation "farmer" as she put it. We ordered a cheese plate so she encouraged us to sit by the indoor fireplace and do our tasting from there while enjoying our cheese plate. She delivered each of our tastes to us there and was sensitive not to rush us and let us savor the place. She also gave us tastes of items not on the usual tasting list. Ranger, the winery's older Golden Lab, visited our area, much to our delight, but was never an intrusion. There was also a circular outdoor fire pit which had a fire going in it, as well as another outdoor patio with tables and chairs. They also waive the usual nominal tasting fee if you make a purchase. This was our favorite tasting room in the Lodi area.

We belong to the wine club here. This visit, in November we had a nice wine pairing with good food. We enjoyed the music and visiting with the wonderful family. We also loved seeing their yellow Labrador. We recently lost our lab who had visited the winery several times. it was nice to pet their lab and get a nice "fur fix".

Terrific wines and very friendly staff. Tastings are only $5 per flight and that cost is deducted from any bottle you purchase. Good quality wine in a terrific atmosphere.

We visited Harney Lane winery & tasting room during a 3-day visit to Lodi. It’s on the southeast side of Lodi off East Harney Lane. They have some very nice wines to be tasted and a small gift shop in the pleasant tasting room. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The big plus, however, is a exquisite garden and outdoor relaxing area beneath huge trees. It is really an oasis in the middle of the agricultural San Joaquin Valley. There are tables and chairs, fountains and beautiful gardens among the shade of the trees. It’s worth the wines to stop, but well worth spending a while in the restful garden. You can purchase snack food there or they allow you to bring your own food so as to enjoy a picnic with a bottle or glass of their wine. The nominal tasting fee is waived if you buy a glass or bottle of their wine.

Decent zin, lovely albarino. Bought a couple of glasses of wine to enjoy with our picnic at the shady table in the fern grove. Very pleasant.

What can we say - great wines, a warm welcome and superstar winery dog "Ranger!"2013 Albarino is delicious...Patriarch's Promise is a sublime blend...2012 Chardonnay is balanced to perfection.Kathy was a treat to meet and visit with. She made our stop at this wonderful winery that much more special!

Lodi has wineries that rival the Napa Valley, especially for lovers of zinfandel. Harney has a comfortable tasting room, friendly staff, and a very nice selection of quality wines. We may never go to Napa again!
