We go to the Elsinore Theater a few times a year for all kinds of shows. Might be ballet, rock n roll, country music, dancing, or just old classic movies. Last night was Neil Berg’s Rock 'N' Roll Decades which was absolutely amazing. Each musician/singer was world class and I feel very fortunate to see something worthy of Broadway in New York at our little historic theater in Salem. Thanks to Neil and his crew for choosing the Elsinore as the first place to debut his new show. At break time we talked to Charlotte one of the volunteers who is very nice and engaging. We always park right behind the theater for free and we go to Davincis next door for dinner. We love going to the Elsinore as it is a beautiful venue with reasonably priced events.

My husband and I took a friend and our 6 year old granddaughter to see "Popovich" at the Elsinore Theatre and it was absolutely the best show. Live animals including cats, dogs, goats, geese, doves, a parrot, and a miniature horse. All came from a rescue and were very well trained. The entire show was very entertaining and went by quickly. This person has shows in Las Vegas too at a much higher cost. Add all this to the fact that the Elsinore Theatre is a beautiful old building with much charm. I recommend it highly for not only this show but for all the productions they offer.

It is totally restored and is absolutely gorgeous. Staffed for every occasion by the sweetest volunteers. Seating on the main floor is just OK - but the mezzanine seats are to die for! We attend performances and old time movies here several times a year. It is spectacular!!!

This is a theater with lots of history that has been restored. It is beautiful, the seats are comfortable, and used for many different events from actors to plays, and community events too.

Don't miss this venue! This is a very beautiful older theatre with a mighty Wurlitzer with all the pipes! The seating is very comfortable. This theatre is loved by many, and it shoes, as the renovations that have been done are just super. Many types of shows are offered here. I have been to many of the performances. I went to their December Christmas show, with singalong times, carolers in Victorian attire, and a special time with the kids from the audience on stage. There are also silent movies shown with Wurlitzer organ accompaniment. There are speakers, musicals, dancers, a bit of everything, plus notable musicians. The price is right and the floor is graduated, with a balcony, so basically, there is no bad seat. Also, food and beverage is available in the lobby, including beer and wine. It is a bustling atmosphere before the curtain goes up, and at intermission while in the lobby.

I enjoy this theater like no other. It reminds me of when my mother took me to see the Disney movies like Bambi and Snow White when I was just a girl in the 60's. The big curtain opens on the stage and you are relaxed in your movie chair seat. I love the old architecture inside with the high ceiling and crown moldings. The price is unbeatable. Go back in time !

I went to see Ms. Angelou at this facility and was seated in the middle of a very tight row. While the speaker captivated and kept my mind on her, I spent the entire time trying to stay within the confines of the seat without stepping on toes or bumping elbows.

If you have a chance to see a show at The Elsinore, go. It is such a beautiful, well preserved place and the staff is excellent.

From the time you enter the grand entryway, then the theater it is almost all class,Love classic silent films with the theatre organ. Concerts, anything is good here. wonderful acoustics, visually stunning.Only minor drawback is the bathrooms. They have been remodeled but still not convenient.

My wife and I attended a Brothers Four concert here in the fall of 2013. What a beautiful and historic place. Take time to walk around the theater and take in all of the interesting things there. We are planning on attending other events here.
