Free adventure for folks of all ages, although several eateries and attractions are available if you wish. Start out by parking in the Newport on the Levee garage, walk across the purple people bridge. Follow the river symbol plaques on the sidewalk from Yeatman's Cove in Cincinnati, then along Serpentine wall following The approximately 3 mile walk ends near the Newport the Ohio river. Watch the boats and barges, sit on the wall steps. Crossing the Ohio on the suspension bridge into KY is a neat experience. The walk ends near the Newport aquarium.

It wasn't until I walked along the banks of the Ohio River that I could truly appreciate its magnificence. The river walk park offered great views and lots of great historical information located on signs and monuments along the banks. The walk seemed very tranquil and relaxing. I would definitely recommend a walk across the purple people bridge to Newport.

This is one of the best improvements to downtown. A fun place for a walk or to hang out. Watch for lightning bugs in the summer time!

We walked a part of this and then took the Segway of Cincinnati tour through the area. Both were fine. The Segway was even better, as we could see many more of the bridges and buildings in the same time. We liked the International Friendship Park.

If you are a walker this is a fantastic place to enjoy and also take in some great Ohio River sights.

I did the riverwalk on the Covington, KY side. Not totally completed - but lots of history along the way and when it goes into the residential neighborhood - your jaw will drop at some of the homes.

I lived in Cincinnati when there was nothing down by the river. This park is beautiful. Plenty of places to sit, or to eat, or to bike, or to walk/jog. I am really impressed the Cincy city gov't got their act together enough to make this park happen. Whenever I'm back in the city, I will be taking a stroll through here.

After a busy weekend visiting the sites around Cincinnati, my family spent a couple of hours enjoying the peaceful side of the city. With two playground areas, paved walkways, and neat sidewalk history timeline to read, fun was had by all. The view of all of the bridges was spectacular, and the breeze from the river was just right. Highly recommended for any and all ages. There were lots of people cycling, walking pets, fishing, etc. There are some bikes and various carts for rent by hour/day, and there are vending machines available.

I have brought many friends and especially out of town guests to this park. Not only is it a good workout but truly relaxing and beautiful. I love that it is always improving and can't wait for the carousel! I also see people on segways using this path and hope to rent one in the future. Excellent way to show off the Banks and the riverfront.

This Riverwalk is one of the best I've seen. Picturesque views of the Roebling Suspension Bridge, brilliant floral gardens, and the changing energies from the vibrancy of downtown to the calming international landscapes of Theodore Berry Friendship park - such a rich experience - are not to be missed.
