Nice view of the Maumee river. Not far from downtown Perrysburg. The two naval cannon are from the USS Constitution.

This Park has two guns from the USS Constitution and is just down the street from the Commodore Perry monument. There is also a Civil War monument monuments World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, the Persian Gulf War and Afghanistan. Near by is St Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church and Downtown Perrysburg.

The park entrance begins at the end of the main street in town and ends at the Maumee River. There are boat docks and a couple of benches for sitting down and enjoying the view. A great little place to stop and rest after walking thru town.

Perrysburg Ohio’s, Riverside Park runs along the riverfront on West Front Street and has a beautiful panoramic view of the Maumee River.The Park was dedicated in 1934 with the placement of two naval cannons retired from the U.S.S. Constitution, a three masted frigate of the United States Navy. The ship was named by President George Washington after the Constitution of the United States of America and is the world's oldest USA’s naval vessel afloat.The USS Constitution is famous for her participation in the War of 1812 against Great Britain, when she captured many merchant ships and defeated five British warships.The park also has a stone marker with a bronze plaque commemorating “The Memory of the Men of Perrysburg and Vicinity Who Answered the Call of Their Country in The World War.”Riverside Park was renovated thought the efforts of the Girl Scouts of Maumee Valley, The Perrysburg Garden Club and the City of Perrysburg. The Park also has benches and a paved trail. I think it is pet friendly. Hood Park is just east of Riverside Park and is a great place to visit next.
